    So excited! Finally got to walmart to use up some super great coupons and get some other fun stuff.

    Picked up a bunch of travel size items:
    6x Gillette shave foam (used 2x save $5 wub 3 coupons)
    5x Olay quench (used 1x save $5 wub 2 and 3x $2 coupons)
    1x Colgate toothpaste (total advanced health) (used 1x $1.50 coupon from dentist's office)

    then grabbed:
    1x Minute Rice brown rice (large box) @ $4.97
    1x Rice Krispies @ $2.97 with free bananas coupon

    Subtotal $24.41
    Less coupons: $22.50

    New total $1.91 + $2.14 tax = $4.05 OOP for 14 items (15 if you count the bananas!!!!!!!)

    Sadly I had a $1 coupon for Rice Krispies in my coupon binder but didn't bring it with me- just had my smaller accordion file. Oh well, great deals all around.

    So between SDM and Walmart, I've saved over $50 in coupons today, added another "free bananas" coupon to my file and MADE $30 in SDM points!

    thanks all! as i read through others' brags i'm realizing that i need to track down my envelopes with key coupons! ha ha...lost track a bit while getting ready for mother's day and such!

    the FPC coupon is on the INSIDE of the cereal box...you have to cut it off the box. The promo for "free bananas" is advertised on the front of the box...mainly on Kellogg's cereals. You may still find some cereal boxes with coupons for $1 off your purchase of bananas as well. There's also coupons for free yogourt, orange juice, eggo waffles and more on cereal boxes. Keep an eye out for 'em and have fun shopping!
