WM rack of discounted pet food

I was not really searching for a deal this a.m., just went to get bananas ( that's my story and I'm sticking to it), however WM had a
rack in the aisle next to the cat food area with different wet and dry food items, and Claudius' favourite cat treats. I bought ALL 19 boxes of those Xmas gift items @ $1.99 and they each contained 2 x 60g bags of Friskies Party Mix, and 2 x 57 gm Fancy Feast Hors d'oeuvre chicken/salmon food each.
Then I snagged a 5.5 lb bag of Iams Premium Protection dry kitten food for $6.00 !!( and kicked myself at ALL the Iams coupons I have tossed because it is so overpriced, gah!!) could have gotten it even cheaper with a coupon.
Then...I bought this brand of wet cat food called " Simply " ( haven't seen it before ) ...3 x 85 gm cans for .50 cents! ( I grabbed 16 of these 3 pack items ) I know the items in those Xmas boxes came to 50 cents each and those canned foods ones were say .17 cents each, so I skipped all the way to the vehicle!!

The only part that always gets to me is having to pay tax on the pets food.

Walmart in Pickering had Whiskas 2kg bags of dry food (Seafood Selections) on rollback from 7.98 to 5.98 using $2.00 off coupons = 3.98 each. I grabbed 4 bags since that's all they had, and then 4 bags at the Ajax store, (which did not show it as a rollback but the price was 5.98 anyway.)

Oh you said it! Fancy Schmancy menu eh? The part though about humans not paying tax on our food, but my pet has to?? Another " PET Peeve " lol!!

Wow that's great, I love deals like that especially for our little babies. And sometimes trying different brands is giving them a break too because they get bored too I try to explain to DH. Even paying the taxes these are outstanding deals. Thank you so much for sharing. I'm going tomorow- I think I need bananas. Cute!

My Maxi right now accept double coupons, one from the Coupon Zone and one from the Manufacturer, on a product. This week, I was able to pick 29 bags of Whiskas 2 kg (12 for a friends and 17 for me). Price was 6.77$ - 3$(CZ) + tx -3$. It came to 1.35$ per bag!!!
