Gotta Love Walmart

Ok so I don't think this deal is everywhere, but here in Winnipeg our Walmarts are changing to super centers, so if your here might wanna check it out, as they are putting alot of stuff on clearance.

I would first off like to say my mom never wants to go with me shopping because she thinks that I am crazy about coupons and they are a waste of time. I told her that with a little effort she could save so much money. She said she needed to get a few things from WM - on that list was ziplocs and hair dye, so I decided to go with her just to prove her wrong once and for all about coupons.

We first went off check out the beauty section for hair dye.

Next we went and checked out the clearance section

Head & Shoulders 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner 410mL with a bonus Gillette Fusion Razor attached, woo hoo right cause I was thinking I could use some of those $1.50 off coupons from the P&G insert. It was just randomly thrown on a shelf so I didn't know if it was supposed to be there or not. Needless to say I picked it up and headed over to the price checker.

$3.00 is what it scanned!!!!!!

Went back over to the clearance section to see if there was anymore and found 4 more. Grabbed them all. My mom said - you don't even use Head and Shoulders, to which I replied I know just wait.

Amongst our travels in WM we ended up running into one of her friends in one of the aisles, stopped and talked, her friend asks what we are doing there, so my mom said "my daughter is teaching me a coupon lesson and laughed".

Needless to say I would have the last laugh

This is what we got

5 x Head & Shoulders combo pk with razor ($3.00) = $15
10 x Olay travel size lotion ($1.27) = $12.70
1 x Kelloggs All Bran Bars (on sale $1) = $1.00
1 X Clairol Hair Dye = $9.97
12 x Ziploc Bags ($1.48) = $17.76
1 x 4L Milk = $4.78
1 x Glade Airfreshner = $1.13

Total $58.15 x 1.12 = $65.13

Here is the coupons used

5 x $1.50 = $7.50 for Head & Shoulders
5 x $5 WUB2 Olay = $25
1 x $0.75 Kelloggs All bran bars = $0.75
1 FPC Clairol Foam Hair dye = $9.97
6 x $4 WUB2 Ziplocs = $24

Total = $67.22

$67.22 - $65.13 = WALMART PAID ME $2.09

It was priceless to see my moms jaw drop to the floor when the cashier said he owed me money!

As we got to the car we ran back into my moms friend and she asked so how much did we end up paying - my mom proudly said WM paid us to shop today!

P.S - Head & Shoulders got thrown in the food bin at Safeway and my dad now has new razors

Just picked up my son from daycare and one of the workers was complaining her hands are so dry from all the hand washing they do all day with the kids. Will be dropping those off in the morning along with my son ♥
