Still in Miami- doing overnights- but enjoying the weather when I wake up Heading back Friday afternoon- home for a week, then back to Miami for 2 more weeks :O but then thats it for travel I hope

I hope mother's day gets posted soonish - I have already done some shopping down here for the next train- and will have another 2 weeks to pick stuff up again woo hoo!

First of all, I'm still really sad that I can't join any package trains right now, especially the Mother's Day one because last year I cried on Mother's Day....it was my first one and hubby got me nothing. lol ...to be fair, we had a rule last year that we weren't wasting money on each other celebrating holidays except for christmas, but i thought he'd at least get me a card....oh well. haha But I am very proud of myself because I am doing very well on my "cash" budget with saving and paying off my debt.

There's quite a few of you that I would love to shop for.....mostly because some of you are way easier to shop for than others...aka Armygirl with her pugs....the ones with young kids cuz it's fun/easier to pick out stuff for children than decide on what a "teen" may like......etc etc etc! But obviously there's also people that I would love for them to have ME as their buddy because you've watched and seen that certain people send out unique packages like Slambert's paintings.....Cowgirlmama's homemade products......etc etc etc! But then again, it's just fun to buy for anyone and even more awesome to receive a package from any of you!! :D

I've told myself and hubby that no matter what, I'd like to ride the Advent one again this year. I just really hope we get lots of time to shop for it like last year, because I'm pretty sure that "Baby2" 's surgery will be in Oct or Nov when its 3 or 4 months old and I won't be doing much of anything for two weeks while that is happening and baby is healing.

I really admire your restraint on the package trains MeShell. I probably shouldn't be riding them, I am supposed to be on a budget and it's just not happening. The move really blew it all out of the water. I will for sure do the Mothers Day one, then I'm not sure what I'll do after that. I kind of like not picking and just getting someone and their list, makes it interesting to try and figure out what people like and where to get things off their list. I also like that it's a surprise who has me, and what I'll get. But my list is often very general (I like surprises, here's something about me and my family, with a few items I'd like). I do hope we get more time to shop next time round, and know we will and why this one was short, I am managing but I would like to spread it out a bit lol.

Aww thanks. but trust me, it's REALLY hard to have restraint on this!!! I loooooooooove going shopping so it's been hard to not shop lately and especially not to add to my stockpile when there is good deals.

But the biggest part of these package trains that I love is just being able to chat with all you, so as long as I can just be a lurker on these threads, then that still makes me happy Plus it still makes me smile and gives me the "warm fuzzies" inside when I see everyone excited about their buddies and when they post their pictures even though I am not getting/giving one myself.

My package came today!!!



It was full of so many goodies from my wishlist!

First the yummies...
2 bags of Twistos Baked Snack Bites!
3 large bags of Sour Candies!
A Mango Peach Flavoured Mio!
And Handmade Cashew Brittle!

I've already hid all these goodies away, so dbf can't find them....hehehe!



Next I received some items that every couponer needs...
2 funky pens!
50 great paper clips!
And recipe cards inside a great folder (I love the colour) for organizing coupons, or recipes!



Next are two items I've wanted for awhile...
A Tin Sifter for flour!
And a metal Odor Remover for your hands!



Then I received...
A Strawberry Lip Smacker pkg with 3 products!
A Navy Blue Eyeliner! I so need this!



Now a couple of soft things...
Cozy white socks! So soft!
And a beautiful pink scarf! It's gorgeous!

Oh, some of the files are .mobi which a friend who has a Sony can't use, but you can use Calibre which is a free software to convert them to a format you can use (pdf or ebook or whatever). I think I've done some of them but probably not all.
