wondering why sc hasn't 'fixed' this problem, when i post a vid

and from what i know one is supposed to take some of the info
when you click the video link, and then add some of the youtube info
after the '=' and then:



i have had someone try and explain a version of this but,,, i don't seem
to understand why we can't just bring over the youtube link?
some help please

i liked the way posting a video was, very easy, and didn't
require one to do what i described, which seems very
silly and tedious especially if one 'mis-clicks'.

I'm getting really sick of that "The forum requires you to wait 20 seconds in between" message.

I am running a train. I got a PM from a member that I had to both forward and respond to.

I forward no problem. Go to respond and get the dreaded "The forum requires you to wait 20 seconds in between" message, only this time it said to wait 88 seconds. WTH? The forum requires 20 seconds but I have to wait 88? Ok fine, I wait. Click send again and this time it says to wait 57 seconds (this is after waiting MORE than 88 seconds). I checked my outbox to make sure it didn't send and nope it didn't so again I get to wait another minute. Then it finally sends.

Seriously annoying. Shouldn't take almost 3 minutes to send a PM.

Is this being looked into?

^ agree - and it's NOT always at times when it's busy, as explained previously. It happens in the middle of the night, too, when there are very few of us on.

I was doing reps and thanks for reps very early this morning - almost every one had the wait times issue, and some were beyond ridiculous - highest I saw was 123 seconds, I think - but even times when it would show try again in XX seconds, lots of times the next one it showed was to wait even a higher number.

Something is very wrong and it's frustrating.
