It is the reward with the Canadian Tire Options Mastercard. I pay for absolutely everything with this card. My cable bill and hot water tank as well as cell phones are on automatic payment. I pay it off religiously every month so i never pay any interest. I works out to about 1% cash back which i use at Canadian Tire.

I was so inspired by wifey's post I decided to tally up my other money! I don't have a chart, but here's a list!
Airmiles cash $80 worth of free gas(I tried to redeem points on days I would get points in return to make it more worthwhile.)
Mbna cash back $600(this is a no fee credit card that pays cash back on all purchases 2% on gas and groceries 1% everything else
I got $767.92 worth of stuff at Shoppers.(I spent $454.53)
I got two free movies with my Scene card.
Checkout 51 $362.25 cash back
Costco $15.55 cash back
MIR total of $326.57 in cash and gift cards
Sold $386.16 worth of stuff on castanet
PC Points $280
Gas Bucks $128.75
That's a grand total of $2947.02! I hope to do better in 2014. I find this thread very inspiring!Last edited by SavingYourHardEarnedMoney; Thu, Jan 2nd, 2014 at 04:21 PM.

Apply every possible promo code to your cart, at every store that you visit (and get points for cash back on top of that?). It's sweet and easy with HONEY.
Always use Ebates and get cash back at over 600 online stores! Use this link to get $5, FREE

Took back some parts we bought in 2008! Called first to see if they'd take them back(Can Tire) they said yes if they were inspected at the parts counter first! No restocking fee or anything! $192.73! Happy dance!
Bought some apples at Superstore, my first scop of the new year, $4.98 for free!

Wow, amazing job everyone! Sorry I've been MIA for a long time...business picked up and kept me very busy! I did score great deals and kept up with my other money generation and savings just didn't have time to log, track or post it. But I'm loving all the great updates here and thank you all for keeping at it! I'm going to start the new thread for 2014...I will be sure to post regularly there this year and I'm inspired by wifey's tracking sheet...amazing totals for each area...it certainly adds up!
Cheers to 2014!
