Always amazes me how this new generation can be so young , yet so wise. I've lost track if you're X Y or Z but it gives me hope in the future.
Great brag.

Very well stated.
If you don't like brags, don't read them. If you don't like a particular brag post move on to one you do and leave the person a rep and a cheer.
And MercuryBlue has a super good point - chat on the super great brags more ... the cream will rise to the top
After all no one wants sour milk.

The people who post negative comments on a BRAG are often people who are just jealous & envious of the deals you got
..they are not capable of getting these deals themselves as they are not smart enough
..hence all the negativity ..you should feel sorry for them & not angry at them
As long as NO fraud is involved in the BRAG or extremely excessive HOARDING / shelf clearing is involved ..you should keep on bragging ..nothing wrong with that

Yeah, I've seen it a lot lately.
People accusing others of coupon fraud, people insulting cashiers who get paid minimum wage and people accusing others of clearing shelves.
This site was made for all of us to save money. The bragging section was made for us to share what we are proud of when it comes to accomplishments or big savings. So why bring people down? You don't know peoples lives, how do you know that the same person you're looking down on or accusing doesn't have a crappy life at home and maybe uses this site just to get away from everything. Don't accuse people of things, don't judge people of things and don't insult people. Mind your own buisiness, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all, its that easy. As for the remark about cashiers in the other thread, that was low, really really low. Just because you had a bad experience doesn't mean you can judge everyone. I myself used to be a cashier at the Children's Place afew months ago. (I'm just a baby too, only 20 lol) Anyways point being we have soo many coupons circulating that is it wrong for me to be skeptical when people hand me coupons? Is it wrong for me to have to ask management about a coupon? I have a job too! I have to make sure these coupons are valid, some you need to redeem with a receipt, need to make sure everything is going smoothly. Why would I want to risk being terminated for mistakes that could be avoided. Put yourself in other peoples shoes before you want to act nasty to them.
That is all

^^^
Yes I don't get people being rude & obnoxious at cashiers ..they are just doing their job .
Its their job to check for fake cpns & making sure that the cpns are properly used etc , even when they are legitimate .
It takes time to read the fine print etc ..just bcoz I know my cpns well that doesn't mean that the cashier does too as he/she could be seeing the cpn for the first time in her/his life & has every right to scrutinize them & question them to clarify/validate things so that their job is not in jeopardy .
They are often held liable for wrong coupon use ..so I don't blame them at all for questioning certain cpns & cpn use ..you just need to be patient .
I have had cashiers scrutinize my cpns etc ..but they have always been very polite & professional about it ..I don't mind it at all if they do that as I know they are just doing their job so I am very patient about it

I love the brag section and hate to see when a brag goes downhill with negative comments. Unless its obvious fraud, if you don't like the way someone else uses their coupons, MOVE ON. Don't we all have more important things to worry about?
I think the Canadian coupons should be scanable in Canada like they are in the US and that would make it faster and easier for all the cashiers. I can't keep track of all the available coupons, I feel bad for cashiers who get a stack of coupons and need to read the small print on them.
Thanks OP for this great post! Well said.

i love hearing about the great deals ppl get and honestly, i use them to look for certain deals that i may have missed. for such a large website, i think we`re actually a very tight knit community, we generally support one another. So when i read some of the nasty negative comments that are some times posted, it really makes me sad. you wouldnt talk to your family like that (hopefully) so dont talk to your coupon family like that! With some of the difficult cashiers, store managers and other shoppers out there, couponing can be hard sometimes, feels like us against them and if we dont support each other, who will?
BE NICE TO ONE ANOTHER!
