IMO, sports bras are not meant to make your breasts look perky and attractive, they're to prevent your breasts from hitting you in the face while you exercise.

For me at least, I'm not looking for something that will make me look pretty for my DH or anyone else while I exercise without wearing a shirt over it, it's meant to make me comfortable by reducing bounce while I engage in sports. I couldn't care less what anyone else thinks of me while I'm wearing it, I'm there to work out, not to give you something to look at! To be effective, at least for me, it's tight. My breasts are flat while I wear a sports bra. But I'm not bouncing, so I'm good.

i tried on 6 sports bra at marshalls, bought one pair for $7.99 with 8% tax at the states.
