Has anyone heard an update on the CP Strike? If they are going to strike the other shipping options we have are so expensive (ie. purolator, ups, etc) Any ideas?

If the last strike is any indication, we could be in for a long haul . It sucks cause I am waiting on so many wonderful coupons. What will I do with no mail in the next month .

We can hope that they meet today to still try avert it.
It may not be a full-scale strike; they may do rotating strikes, so some mail will get through.
Fingers crossed!

I heard they are walking out at 11:59 ( not sure am or pm) today and as far as I know only government mail such as pension checks etc will be delivered..everything else will be on hold. My mailbox is going to be busy the days following the end of hte strike...but what to do in the meantime. I guess I will HAVE to buy a new printer so I can at least keep up with the coupons that way. ( I was putting it off, but I think I will go on kijiji today and see what I can find

I got a parcel slip in my mailbox last night, guess I had better get that one today I really hope that they dont strike. $24/hr starting wage? My husband busts his butt in trades to make that much money, he laughed when I told him he could get paid the same wage to go for a walk every day.
And on top of it all, the majority of postal workers dont want to strike, at least my post man doesn't. Its the Union pushing the strike. Grrrrrr.................

I won't mind not getting any bills! Can't pay them, if I don't get them.
