Still undecided where to go today, though I have promised to take her to the park! What I really want to is going shopping but I doubt hubby wants to go & I always seem to have a toddler attached to my hip. She doesn't want to go to the park with just hubby (so I can go shopping) I HAVE to go too, sigh. Looking forward to the green living show since I will be going sans toddler (my dad will be watching her, which she is ok with, Yaaa)

Oh buddy, I have updated post 1034 (page 69) with all of my answers. But as promised, I'm still going to keep answering them in all of the posts as we go. I added some more stuff to my wishlist though on that post lol.

I had a pretty craptastic day yesterday. It was fine, but I just got really down and bummed. My plans for going back to work in September with the consulting company are pretty much down the drain. It may still be a green light, but that's about a 2% chance that it'll work out So, I walked around the mall yesterday, bought my buddy something I think she'll love, and then wandered Target while Alexa slept. I decided that my kitchen is now going to get a new theme...blue, robin egg blue/teals, and grey. I also saw some cool photo frames there that I really enjoyed. That made me quasi happy. But still, I was just generally bummed. The plan as of today, is to sign Alexa up for day care as of September. If I get a job before that, Don will just take parental leave. We'll see. I dunno. I'm very bah-humbug about it. I wish I could make a living selling Avon again lol. (not that I ever made a living doing it, but I used to sell it is what I mean).

Ehehe. I love those new flavours for frosting btw buddy (from duncan hines, lil packets of flavours)!! I made angel food cupcakes with the stawberry shortcake frosting...mmmmm. Delicious!

Minus 19 before the windchill today!!! I do not ever remeber an April like this!! I remeber a skiff of fresh snow in April but never such cold and piles of snow!! Beyond complaining but confused now!!!

but it won't be today because I am off to Ikea very shortly! Hubby is going to take DD to the indoor playground which at this point is easier than the park because there is a washroom there & while see she doing really well with the potty training it's nice to be close to a washroom!

BIG HUGS!! I'm sorry to hear that things are a bit unclear right now about what's happening with work. I know the feeling. Every three months I am worried that they won't extend my contract. If by the fall this continues I think I will have to look for another job. But we'll see. BC Government hiring freeze right now. Blah. I have two pets but we don't really need anything. Just carpet cleaner maybe? haha. They sometimes throw up or have hair balls.

I don't but my brother collects beer from around the world. He likes to try new stuff so any local beer would be super cool.

Absolute madness!!
I try and read all of the posts on my phone during the day (when I get the chance) as DS is too hard to manage in the office room. He just wants to get into eeeeeverything, my inbox and outbox get messed up, papers get drawn on. DH's homework often gets some nice coloring on it as well. lol.

Went shopping for my buddy yesterday! So much fun already.

Are you into home decor items, such as candle holders?

I LOVE homemade cards too - especially ones that are blank on the inside.....

I think I am DONE... until the next time I go out and see something buddy needs. Had a great time out toodling through WM, Superstore and a new Pet store. I bought the puppy 2 things - no worries buddy if you already bought somthing for her, she will need lots of toys. But what I got her was a Nylabone shaped like a Dinosaur and a Kong Wubba.

Home alone this afternoon, it's nice and quiet. Have to go stuff a couple of envies for trains, make supper, do the 10 second tidy so it looks like I did something today and then it's off to Pipe Band.

Oh, no beanies here... we have tons of stuffies floating around and dd's are at the age where they just have one or two that mean something to them. My 15 yo dd still sleeps with 'bunny'.... it's so cute because she comes across as 'bad ass' all the time and then I go to wake her up in the morning and there is bunny snuggled right in the crook of her arm.... *sigh*
