I wish I could give all the details but it's just unfortunate. I don't like having to play that role of taking a child away for it's parents but what if the parents are unsafe?

anyway, it's just been a tough week. I'm so sorry I haven't been around in terms of posting but I've been reading and each time I come on the thread on a break or during lunchtime, I feel that much better!

I don't envy your position either. I have a friend that worked as a nurse and she experienced many cases where children needed to be apprehended. Just think that you are doing it for the child's sake - don't worry about the parents' feelings etc. You could be saving the baby's life.

You have a very difficult job.
I believe you always have to think about the childs well being first.

    Had to share.

My son's birthday was March 15 - he turned two. He is a die-hard Thomas fan. Well, my cousin's son has outgrown his Thomas collection, so we bought it along with their train table. But they left for Mexico before we could get it, and then we were busy, etc. and so today, finally, we got it.

He's played with it since it arrived - missed lunch, his nap, etc. Seriously has been playing for 4+ hours straight. I think it's the BEST gift ever. Even my daughter is in on the fun (and yes, still in her pj's LOL)

    Great packages ladies

Well the Barrie Women's show was a bust
It was brutal, we got there just before nine--huge line up, got in at 925 and all the sway bags were gone--400 of them
They were still letting people in and really the venue could only hold 300 people max. Total fire hazard must have been 500-600 people in there, could not even get close to booths to look at anything.
We tried to wiggle thru everyone for about 20 minutes and gave up and left.
Nothing being given out as freebies just entering your name for draws.
Very disappointed, I am gonna email the organizers as the venue was too small and poorly organized

So Mom and I went to costco for a bit and to Marshalls for the first time and had brunch at milestones.
    K thats all for now
Everyone have a great Saturday night--its hockey night in Canada!!!! woohoo

I haven't tried the Keratin, but I like to hear other people's opinion on shampoo's. Is tresemme good? I'm pretty loyal to Garnier fructis, but I like to try others every once in awhile. I had a pretty heinous experience with Herbal Essences a few years ago (apparently it has henna in it and if you colour your hair it has the possibility of altering your hair colour slightly), and am a little leary of trying new products without recommendations.
I love tresemme..the black bottle shampoo and the white bottle conditioner. Not only do they smell great, my hair is not frizzy. Fructis leaves my hair too greasy, no matter how much I rinse it out so I don't use that at all. Pantene dries my hair out. I have long curly hair that is a frizzball so I have to be choosy with shampoos and conditioners. Herbal Essences...yuck! Clean and clear smells really nice and my hair isn't frizzy afterwards. If anyone with frizzies has any fave shampoos that works for them...let me know.
