Yesterday, I was at Save On Foods and bought two containers of Island Farms Ice cream (because they were on sale at $5 each). When I got to the cash register, the cashier told me if I bought a pie as well, I could enter a draw to win a freezer. She told me where the pie was so I went to get one but they were all out. So she entered me in the draw anyways.
Today I went to Superstore and got
Fantastik $3.77 X 4 - (B1G1 x 2) = 7.54
Windex Multsurface $3.77 - (B1G1) = 3.77
Crest Total Care $1.79 X 4 - (4x$1) = 3.16 (coupons from tearpad by the paste)
Crest ProHealth $2.36 - $1 = 1.36
Dove soap 4 pak $4.72-1 = 3.36
2x dove body wash $3.72-2 = 5.44
-0.52 in superbucks (from gas purchase)
And all y'all can do the rest of the math
Then I went to Canadian Tire to see if they still had the Lysol hand dispenser on sale (they didn't).
Then I went to RONA where I tried to use a $50 giftcard I had and there was nothing on it (it's being looked into). But I spent $75 on plant food and a wee patio set for my toddler and got my airmiles anyways.
And I did all that with a toddler in tow. It took awhile
Got home, put the toddler to bed, made lunch and then my phone rang.
I won the save on foods freezer!
Now I'll have two apartment sized freezers in my kitchen
I think one will be for meats (which we buy locally) and the other will be for breads, frozen pastas, bulky stuff.

I got my neighbour to give me a ride up since she has an SUV and we could fit it in there (she needed some things anyways). It's not the biggest thing - 7 sq ft maybe? But we moved the recycling bins out to the garage (where they should be anyways), and it fits perfectly in that corner. I think it'll be good for bread, buns, bagels, pasta, etc. I make my own chicken stock too (and have several carcasses in the freezer I have to use up) so that usually takes up some space.
My kitchen looks absolutely insane now. I have two freezers, a wine cooler (that has a bunch of Oasis juices and string cheese in it because they were 2 for 1 at save on the other week and I stocked up), and a tall chair that has the garbage can sitting on top of it (because otherwise the toddler uses it like a drum). My blog is Resolving Timeline Issues
