an armed man shot a female worker Friday morning and then turned the gun on himself. Early reports say one person has died but do not specify whether it was a worker or the shooter. Ambulance technicians confirm that the deceased is a man. One person was injured but whether those injuries are life-threatening is not known.

Two dead in Canada day-care shooting

Two men have been shot dead at a day care centre near the Canadian capital, including the gunman investigators believe started the fight.
An armed man was reportedly threatening people at the pre-school, and both men were dead when police arrived.
All 53 children were unharmed. It is unclear whether they witnessed the shooting in the town of Gatineau.
Police Chief Mario Haren said the shooting appeared to be related to a couple's recent break-up.

And here in Saskatoon, some sick puke of a 12 year old boy sent a text message to a child care facility, threatening to blow it up. He's in custody.

sighing, from what i've seen it's a 'domestic situation' which someone
thought should be solved with a gun. wondering where that logic came
from,,, terrible that one has died, seems the kids have no idea except
police carried them out of school and that was fun. lucky them

Unfortunately some of the kids witnessed the shooting - so sad.

This crap about domestic situations - how about dealing with things ANY other way?

We had a situation here in Saskatoon last week - a man went to pick up his kids, found his ex-wife in the bathroom with their son - she had stabbed herself and their six year old son - him in the abdomen and cut his wrists. She's been charged with attempted murder.
