I was at RCSS in wpg on sargent. i used these coupons on travel size scope and travel size toothpaste and the head supervisor said that i could not use them due to the fact that they will not get the money back. i asked her for the coupon policy and she said it was for staff only and i could not look at it....why not???? this does not make sence to me. she was extremely rude to me aswell! so i decided to take my business to walmart where they gladly accepted my coupons. does anyone have the RCSS coupon policy? and am i right or wrong about using these coupons on a travel size item? tyhank you

From my experience as long as the coupon doesn't have any restrictive wording like "can't be used on trial sizes" or "from x size and up" and just says "any" then it can be used on any crest product including trial sizes because it doesn't specify which it can or can't be used on

gmoney461... I used my CZ today and no problem. The cashier read the fine print on the back, looked at the front that said any size, checked the price ($1.09) and rang in my 4 travel toothpaste. So I don't understand why your RCSS didn't take it... they are priced over the $1.00 value of the coupon so I believe they would get their money back.

I'm surprised they even called the manager. They barely look at the coupon zone ones, since they just scan in, and they don't have to type in the value.

If you look hard enough you should find it on this site, I am pretty sure there is a thread with all of them somewhere here. I went and did a haul at Walmart the other day...total bill was 159.22 and I paid 71.71...should have been a few dollars cheaper but I got all nervous and forgot 2 coupons and another for the free jug of milk as well as a price match on chips!!! I was so nervous!!
I'm glad that the girl was on her last 10 minutes of her shift and shut her light off so no one could stand behind me and complain...lol I also saved a few dollars at RCSS....Last edited by terr994; Mon, Jun 6th, 2011 at 10:47 PM. Reason: spelling booboo...

I have not tried my local RCSS yet but my local WM does not do coupons on travel size even when it says "any size". I don't think this is allowed but where do I even go to dispute something like this? They were rude when I said I had the coupon policy and they stated they can just refuse coupons.

Here is a copy of the policy, I find it best to keep all coupon policies with me for the stores that I shop at.
Loblaws Canada Coupon PolicyThank you for your email.
Essentially, a customer may use more than one manufacturer’s coupon up to but
not exceeding the retail price of the item only if the coupon does not state limit
one coupon per purchase. In the event the coupon states something along the lines
of “buy xx save $xx.xx” and does not indicate any limits, one coupon needs to be
presented for each of the number of units indicated on the coupon to obtain the
savings indicated. Also, where a retailer accepts a manufacturer’s discount
coupon for taxable goods purchased, tax is payable by the customer on the full
price of the item unless the coupon entitles the customer to a free product.
Both a manufacturer and an in store coupon may be applied to an item – however,
the combined value cannot exceed the retail price. (i.e. the customer cannot
receive cash in return).
Online coupons should be accepted (as long as the coupon indicates the retailer
will be reimbursed); the only time an online coupon is not accepted if there is
communication sent regarding possible fraudulent coupons. Please note coupons
that are photocopies are not accepted.”
Once again, thank you for sharing your feedback. Please do not hesitate to contact
us with any future questions or concerns.Sincerely,Customer Relations I LCL Customer RelationsT: 1-888-495-5111 | [email protected]

You are definitely allowed to use those coupons on travel size when it says any size, and does not say "not valid on travel size" anywhere in the coupon.
They are allowed to limit the amount of coupons that you use on the same product (so they may limit you to one coupon for every "type" of item you buy.. But they cannot just refuse coupons.
However if if is a printed coupon they may choose not to accept it because of "blurryness" of the printing or something..
(tip: always make sure your printed coupons are not blurry at all)..
First you can talk to the cashier, then her/his supervisor, then the store manager..
Usually the cashier will quickly conform to the coupon if you ask to speak to their manager..
If you still have trouble after the manager you can file a complaint to Walmart Head Office..
I recommend contacting Head office to confirm whether or not this overage problem is true or if she was just making it up..
Great brag!

I am going to try to use some more of the iams coupons and see if I get the same hassle. I would like to donate some more food to the shelter
. So I will def. make a complaint if they flat out refuse them.
