Julesm14.
All I can say is that I sympathize with you...
I too have had miscarriages at 7 weeks (What is it about that 7 weeks? It is always my most dreaded week). I had a lot of years of infertility too. I had a great set of Doctors at the institute, even though I had no success with them. A lot of daily 4am v. ultrasounds, blood work, and hormone shots and alot more but that would be too much info for this thread. (if you've done it then you know what's involve).
And the biggest blessing of all blessing having a pregnancy (without any help from Doctors) and have it go belong 7 weeks but with a whole lot of complications, and going into labour at 25 weeks, the good news is that they were able to help me they gave me steroids to kick start the baby lungs and I had a lot of great hospitals ready, willing and able to help, they were successful in helping me and my pregnancy and my child survived, and has been one of the biggest blessings in my life.

I only suffered one miscarriage but it was enough for me
I got so sick of people saying "oh, it's probably for the best", "it's a blessing in disguise", etc etc. I don't care what it was, it HURT, emotionally!

Sheets I remember when I had my first miscarriage, the Doctor told me that 1 in 4 woman loose their first pregnancy, I couldn't believe it, to think that for every 100 first pregnancy 25 won't make it. And I find that woman don't talk about it, I remember trying to fine books on it and at the time there was only 3 books on miscarriages.

But when I had my fist miscarriage, social media wasn't what it is now. So then you turn to books, now we have the internet. That's always the joke when people see me with my baby they ask if I'm the Mom or the Grandmother. I tell them I could be the Grandmother (I say that because I think about if my first baby had survive and had a child of her own then I would be a Grandma). But no I'm the Mom.
To be honest I don't mind having children now in my old age. And with all that I've been through it makes me love and appreciate them so much. I'm Bless.

Thanks Lola
Thanks Julia
Thanks Sheets
I am so happy for you, you are truly blessed. Sounds like you had a hard journey but you are so lucky to have been blessed with a child. I don't know what it is with 7 weeks, just enough time for you to see the heart beat then heartbreak days later.
I finding this time very different as many people have reached out to me, maybe because before only close family and friends knew as I was never that far along. Almost everyone has a story of loss or this has happened to their mother, daughter, aunt, sister, ect. Even my ex's new/old girlfriend shared her stories with me, she lost two babies one just after 20 weeks and a second at full term, and she did have a son who is now 12.
Also we have Owen with us too so that helps, we had him cremated and have his urn on the mantle in our bedroom with a picture of us and a picture of him. So we can talk to him and look at him whenever we want. We will never forget him and we do feel blessed we had him as he brought us together. I know Mick and I would be together regardless, but Owen is the reason we put our relationship on fast forward and Mick moved here and our love has just grown stronger for eachother every day.
thanks tthomp
thanks clb
Thanks Anna
Sorry I posted that and then logged off and went back to bed, so just responding now.
Thanks everyone.
Talking about it and keeping busy on here has been helping me alot.
