Olay!!!

First all THANK YOU mrsJOEwackIM for your post regarding Olay single bars on for 1.00 at Freschco.

I travelled far and wide yesterday to find these because I had accumulated about 50 PG coupons for 2.00 off any Olay product.
They first two stores I visited had none, at the first store the shelf had been cleared, and the second did not carry the product at all!
Third time a charm......
There were tons!! Like hundreds..so my purchase of 16 hardly made a dent

I got 16 bars for an overage of 16 less a little tax. (not sure about the tax it was less than I had calculated)
Anyway I ended up getting 7 8 pack Oasis juice boxes (1.99) and the 16 soap bars for ......drumroll..... 1 cent!!!!

AND...they rounded the 1 cent to 0!!! WOO HOO!!!

No cash or credit in excess of shelf price may be returned to customer or applied to transaction.

Very curious to know what everyone thinks, has then wording always been there?
Does this mean the store will not be reimbursed????
If that's the case stores are going to be extra cautious now with excepting coupons and this will also make it harder on us too.

I don't think the wording has always been there. brandsaver coupons are getting crappier and crappier $-wise and more and more restrictive. Pretty sure the infrastructure needed to check through every transaction to make sure there was no overage is non-existent ... so the stores will be getting money back and manufacturers eating the costs, I'm guessing.
