i have never had an issue with missing points and my offers usually are for things I buy.
i've only had a problem with missing points a few times. now i always check the receipt before i leave the store. (last week the cashier charged me for 6 plastic bags instead of crediting me for using 6 reusable bags.)
the offers i get are usually relevant although there was one week that was completely where none of the offers were for anything i had bought.
i don't know why some people are having such a negative experience with this program. you'd think the program would be the same for everyone. :(
having said that, we'll see what happens when i get my new offers tomorrow.
As a new member of this program since this week (lol) the news personnalised offers to load are set witch day? I heard friday but I want to be sure.
I think it depends on where you are located. I'm in Ontario and my new offers show up Friday.
The program is really hit and miss for me. Some weeks I get awesome offers, other weeks I get absolutely nothing that would warrant me shopping there.
Having said that, we only have Loblaws which doesn't price match and is fairly expensive. So 400 points for Cucumbers may be a good offer to someone who can price match (ie. $0.77 with 400 points) but for me its not worth it ($2.47 with 400 pts is still way more than going to a place I can PM $0.77 cucumbers).
I only shop at Loblaws when I can match a good sale with good points.
This week doing 3 shops was a major fluke/rarity for me. 1st time I just ran in because I was close and forgot to get milk. 2nd time I caved and got the Chef Boyardee promo and some over-priced fruit. 3rd time I found out preschool was out of training pants for DS so I quickly ran in to get the $14.99 Easy Ups (- coupons of course) and bring them back to the centre. 2 out of the 3 shops were unexpected emergency shops because it was the closest store to where I was.
Anyway, as I've said before sometimes I hate the program and sometimes I love it. It's really a hit and miss for me.

@bargain_hunter_lola : yeah I have just a Loblaws and they dont price match.
Looking forward to this wknds shopping trips. Loblaws on Saturday to cash in on the .95 Oreo/Chips Ahoy, also got personal offer for 400 pts on those.
Then Superstore for my other personal offers. 2500 pts on Kraft Shredded Touch of Philly Cheese (also, managed to get 7 of the Kraft/websaver $2 coupons. Pm Target for $5.88 unless cheaper in store and that makes $1.38 pkg). Also, have 1600 pts on Old El Paso taco kits, I know some stores are as low as 2.99 this week, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna grab any.
I got an offer for 2000 points for smartwater 591ml. Does anyone know how expensive they are and are they any good?
Thanks.
I got out at a decent time this a.m. to snag some PC offers that actually matched up with a cheap price match or had a great point incentive on their own.
The offers I used you can see below are checked off as earned.
I earned 10,000 points on Deli cheese ( 4 tubs shredded Parmesan, 1 tube Goats Milk Cheese )
4800 points on 5 x Northern King 850 gram bags of frozen basa filltes ( pm @ NF for $4.98 ea),
8000 points on 4 x NN cat litter
800 points earned between broccoli, cauliflower, pears ( all PM Metro/Food Basics)
100 points in store points offer on celery
Grand total in points earned today was 23,700

I always get lame point offers like 800 points for every $4 spent on Colgate. They never gave me 25,000 points when I spent more than $250, despite e-mailing them so I have given up on this program!
.
In case I score a 50% off Farmer's Market bakery find, then the points will be handy. Don't recall seeing PC Blue Menu soup on sale in the flyer (Fortino's) so will check it again.Quote:

P.S. So PC Plus points for gas bar purchases are possible. Hamilton SCers, you are looking at Fortino's Brampton, RCSS Milton or RCSS Grimsby for the nearest gas bars participating in that offer.
Nothing in Hamilton...as usual.
