I really think I need to sign up for a new card. My point offers suck. They were great last year but this year has been horrible! I'm lucky if I get 500 points per shop.

Yep, right there with you. Today's offers sunk to a new low. I got 1,200 pts for every $6 spent on Special K shakes. I only buy them when they go on sale for $5.99. So 1,200 pts for two packs? Don't think so. In past, I regularly had offer of 2,400 pts for each package.
This move to offers of x pts for every x $ spent on a product really sucks, cause the $ amount is almost invariably $0.01 more than the price of one of that product. So you need two products for the small points offer. 12 of my current 18 offers are this type of offer.
I think x pts for every x $ spent on something should be reserved for things priced by weight, like produce and meat. If it's priced by package, offer me x pts per item.

the ONLY offer I went to RCSS today to use was the 2,000 points for every $10.00 spent on any cashmere TP. I luckily actually found some of the right size packages on the shelf ( MIRACLE!! ) to PM from FB for $5.99, and added a coupon for one, then claimed all 7 pkgs at Snap.
THIS is the first shop there since the No Tax day July 24th, last time before that was on June 6th! THAT is how useless most of my offers are each week.

Actually, that just made me think about something.
Technically, if you bought 1 or 2 boxes your total would be rounded up so it would be the same as $10 on boxed meat. It wouldn't work if you had a whole cart full, because then you have to add all of the pennies. But since you did get the points, maybe they automatically round up in the pcplus points system?
Hmmmmmmmmm.
Maybe something we should test out.

My pcplus card on gmail email address. Lol
I had to apply for these red pcplus cards because pcplus offers were getting worst week by week and i had no option but to apply for new cards. Kekkekeee.

I know. I feel its a very crappy program, just like Air Miles.
Plus I hate the whole having to load the offers & all that nonsense each week. Just an extra annoying step, wish it was more automatic.
So if you forget to load or don't bother & still end up buying that product you get nothing.
Plus I don't think you get much personal offers or points for No Frills, mostly its for their more expensive Loblaws, RCSS stores. Why would I go to Loblaws for some crappy points, when I can get the exact same product for almost half the price at their sister store No Frills, down the road.

Hey Amira: it must be a nightmare keeping track of what to buy on what card. I have enough trouble trying to keep track of 2 cards, I can't imagine keeping track of 4 cards. What we will do to save $!

Lol. Scouponer, i have 3 sdm cards and 1 air miles card too. I love keeping all these cards. I have no life, no friends, no outside activites dedicated to myself. I am not joking. Lol.
Checking for deals on these cards and in the flyers and spending time on SC is the only "social" thing i do for myself. Otherwise it's just maintaining the house, kitchen work, kids etc...oh and my make up too. Lol
Forgot to mention that hubby doesn't stand with me when i am ready to check out. He knows i'll be using a stack of loyalty cards (2 pcfinancial and 2 pcplus) at my rcss. )Last edited by amira84; Sun, Aug 2nd, 2015 at 02:39 PM.
