Just came from dollarama and supervisor said here in Windsor they are on a trial at one store and other stores will be following soon if all works with their system. She was nice about it too when I asked her.

Anyone find out if any Toronto/Hamilton locations are accepting coupons or do we just print off this email and take it in? If this is true I am seriously doing a flippin happy dance over here this would be AMAZING for my donation collections as I will be able to get a lot of items FREE now with my coupons woot woot :D

Maybe I am confused. Sure things at Dollarama are cheap enough but they will be reimbursed for the coupons so it is not like they are losing money. A coupon is the manufactures way of getting people to buy their product, a way of advertising for them. So regardless of whether you buy it at Dollarama or not a deal is a deal and if you have a coupon for it we should be able to use it. I am tired of feeling like I am trying to scam anyone out of money, I am just using the coupons like they are meant for. Okay enough of my rant...just thought I would put in my 2 cents

I phoned the closest store to me in Vernon, BC and they said they do not accept coupons Boo. But yay for you!

The following is a copy of the email I sent to Dollarama Headquarters in Montreal. Will post their response when it comes.

"To Whom it may concern:
I am hearing conflicting information from various consumers as well as Dollarama stores regarding the use of coupons. Consumers are saying that they have used coupons at Dollarama. I asked at my local Dollarama and was told that coupon use is prohibited as the prices are already considerably lower than Walmart, Zeller's, Sobeys, etc.
Could you please send me a copy of your coupon policy if you have one.

Was at the bolton, ontario store today and the lady laughed at me when I asked her and said "no we don't take coupons". She told me no one had told the staff otherwise.

Vaughan Mills is my regular Dollarama store. Does any one know if they are taking coupons?

You're aware what site you're on, right? lol. We're all about saving money, spending no more than we absolutely have to.

Why would you WANT to spend money when you can get things for free? Seems very counterproductive. The cheaper the better, I think

I had emailed Dollarama HO in Montreal a couple of weeks ago and received a response that they DO NOT accept coupons.

Hopefully this has changed.

On the south-shore of Montreal both in brossard (on tashereau right next to Super C) and the one in Greenfield park ( also on tashereau right next to Bureau en Gros) accept coupons... I went there this afternoon and all was well. They both showed me the memo they received from head office..
