went to 2nd independent store and got luck on Eggos and Toilet Paper.

6 boxes of Kelloggs Eggos free after price match and coupon and PCO points:
    6 * $2.50 (SDM flyer) = $15 minus
    6 $1 off coupon + 7500 in-store points + 3000 person point offer

Toilet paper shelves were completely empty. However, I kinldy asked for rain checks and got
Purex tissue limit 2 and Sponge Towel limit 2 (of course with 2000 points attached to each one) not too bad

Loblaws was a ghost town. I picked up:
    2 Bonduelle salads 2 for $8 @ 50% off - $1 coupon - PCO personal offer 1000 points x 2 - co51 $2 so made $1
Frozen cookies, both plant based chocolate chip and regular oatmeal raisin $2.94 each so I bought 2 of each.

No bread or toilet paper anywhere

My continuing story on PC Express.

I got my confirmation email this morning that my order is ready. Then I got a phone call telling me that only 1 of 5 bags of rice were available and do I want to add anything to the order. I said can I decide once I get there? Yeah sure. In the meantime, I searched another Provigo and they had plenty of stock.

So DH and I got there and asked if they could get the 4 bags of rice from another store to add to this order. No, they cannot since it's a franchise. They are very confidant that they will receive more stock within the coming days. So we wanted to know if we could wait until they receive stock before we pay. The $30 code expires March 21 and the rice is on sale for $11.99, reg $16.99.
They guarantee that when the rice comes in whenever, the promo code and rice sale is honoured.

So my ordered has been suspended, there will be a note on our bins saying do not touch.

Then we went to get 3 Cashmere TP for $4.99 with 2000 points each and 3 x $1 coupons.

I said to DH, let's go to the other Provigo where I saw they had rice in stock online. We go there and they had 4 bags of white rice and 1 bag of brown rice. We didn't have a cart and I said to grab all 4. DH says you're going to hold them in your arms and goes to get a cart. I wanted him to get them off the shelf and put it aside against the shelf and I would hover over it. Who knows if my online order will be fulfilled. At least this way, I am guaranteed my rice at the sale price. After DH came back with a cart and we loaded our cart, a guy came by and grabbed the last bag of brown rice. I would've been so pissed if people grabbed all the rice and I'm standing there empty handed.

For all you Quebecers, the Rooster AAA Premium Scented 8kg rice is on sale for $11.88, reg. $20.99. Limit of 2. I prefer my rice unscented.

If no stock, get a raincheck.

That last comment is spot on! Mind blowing how back the shelves are these days but I know they get restocked so it is all a matter of timing I guess.

My best deal this week- is that thanks to SmartCanucks and being a couponer of many years, I already had a decent stockpile of many things including paper products and canned goods, snacks, hygiene products, etc. I only had to go pick up a few essentials. It felt really good before now to have the stockpile, and that peace of mind greatly helped to ease my anxiety about prepping for the increased social isolation measures. Thank you to everyone in this community for the many years of posting deals, the stockpile mindset, and encouragement for saving and couponing.

😊 Thanks sharing all your stories. Our local T&T continues to have oodles of fresh produce and not many people shopping and everything being cleaned all the time.
