Scop- Bag of butterfly shrimp at GT. $9.97 posted. Rang in $11.97. (I mentioned SCOP and she tried to tell me I had to pay $1.97. I nicely told her that isn't how it works and didn't want to argue so I would pay it but the other nice cashier spoke up and said to give it to me for free)

It seems the first cashier was correct. From the SCOP site:

"If the scanned price of a non-price ticketed item is higher than the shelf price, or any other displayed price, the customer is entitled to receive the first item free up to a $10 maximum.

If the item is more than $10 the customer is entitled to $10 off the lowest advertised or displayed price."

It's $10 off the "POSTED" price.

If the item had a posted signed of $9.99 and rang in $39.99 getting $10 off the $39.99 is not what the SCOP stands for.

My bad. I suspect I'd find more SCOPs if I paid more attention to how they work.

A pretty good but not great deal on the weekend that was timely since we were low on coffee: at SDM 4x PC coffee at 2/$20. One of our accounts had a personal offer of 1200 per $6, and an SDM offer for 20x wus $75. There was nothing else I wanted at a price I would normally pay, so I bought 2x diet caffeine-free Pepsi at $6.99 (so 2x 50 cents "extra"), plus I had enough FPCs to reach $79. My actual OOP was $60.48 earning 31.5k in points.

Even when on vacation, there are deals to be found. Recently, I was in Morgantown, Pennsylvania at a discount grocery store called B B's. They sell overstocks and items that are close to (or sometimes over) the best before dates. They had a variety of Duncan Hines Epic baking kits which were best before March 31 to April 2023. I bought a variety of bars, brownie, cake and cookie kit mixes. These sell for $7.99 at RCSS but what did I pay for them? . . . 50 cents each (American)!!!

I already baked the Salted Caramel Brownie and it's sooooooooooo good!

This is what the boxes look like https://www.duncanhines.com/epic-baking-kits

No Frills has 10” hanging baskets for $10 so I price matched at Superstore. I had a personal offer for spend $25 x 2 times and get 10,000 pts. So did 2 baskets and a pack of seeds - did this 2x for a total of 4 baskets so $7.50 a hanging basket.

Do you have the offer of 3000pts for every $10 on Always Infinity? If you do, this could be a money maker and free pads.

Here is a loadable offer of 2000pts each
    https://www.pcoptimum.ca/load?page=PGAl ... am20230501

I have an offer of 20K WUS $75
Starting Saturday, the Always Infinity Flexfoam is $4.49. Check the flyer or f l i p p
On the site, there is 4000pts WUS $20 (It is ringing up as 7000pts)

    Breakdown.
    4.49 x 18 = 80.82
    3000pts for every $10 on Always Infinity = (3000x8)24,000pts
    2000pts for every Always Flexfoam = (2000x18)36,000
    7000pts WUS $20 on Always=7000
    20K = 20,000
    24000+36000+7000+20000=87,000
    80.19 - 84 = 3.81 MM

    No tax on these.

I am missing the 20K WUS $75 and will make a call tomorrow to an actual person.

    I got 24000+36000+7000+1200(base points) = 68200

My local Brunet has been liquidating the old bottles (large and small) of Dove Body Wash for several weeks and I have been getting them fairly cheap with my $2 coupons.

Last week, I sent my son to the pharmacy to get two of the big bottles since I had seen them the day before at $5.94; using my coupon, I thought it was a decent price. He came back empty handed and told me that they had raised the price back up to $8.99. This was out of my price range and he knew that - smart kid.

Well....fast forward to today...I went in to buy some Scrubbing Bubbles that were on sale for $3.99 less the $3.00 on CO51...great price. Well, lo and behold, the BIG bottles of Dove BW were being liquidated for $2.99!!! I used my last 6 $2 coupons and got the LAST 6 bottles!

Dang it! The universe and karma were telling me something!

It has been said that patience is a virtue. Well, being patient paid off for me big time!

I needed new winter boots but didn’t want to pay $120. So I made due with my old boots and waited and waited for them to go on liquidation at Globo. I finally found them online and ordered them...only to have the order cancelled due to lack of stock.

Well, a couple of weeks later I had a hunch that I should check the website again and I was able to get them last week for $39.00 tax included after liquidation pricing and member coupons. Not too shabby!

    New boots for me!!!
