We like the Schneider's All Beef Juicy Jumbo Wieners but the price is now $8.49 - $8.99 at many grocery stores. That's more than I'm willing to pay for 5 large wieners. This week, Schneider's Juicy Jumbos (and Smoked Sausages) are sale priced at $3.32 . . . and it includes the all beef variety! (Often, when Schneider's wieners go on sale, the beef variety is not included.) I bought:

    6 x All Beef Juicy Jumbo Wieners 375g @ $3.32 each = $19.92

    And it gets better . . .

Right in front of the wieners was a new tear-pad coupon for "buy 2, get 1 FREE", so

    $18.92 (cost) - $6.64 (2 x coupons) = $13.28 for all 6 packages or $2.21 per package!

    Happy Canada Day BBQ!

never-mind @lotsasavings , I searched the NF flyer and there it was! Ty for posting. I figured when I scanned the flyer on Thursday that the All Beef was excluded so never even checked when I was in the store.

Danone Go drinkable yogurt 190ml is still at the lock-down price of $ .75 at Food Basics. So, like last week, I bought:

    12 x Danone Go @ $ .75 each = $9.00

    used 4 x B2G1 FREE coupons = $3.00

    earned 5 x $1.00 WUB2 from CheckOut51 = $5.00 (already approved)

    $9.00 (price) - $3.00 (coupons) - $5.00 (CO51) = $1.00 for all 12 or 8 cents each (plus tax)!

    At Sobeys today:

    4 x Kellogg's Mini Wheats 400g @ $4.49 each = $17.96

    used 4 x $1.50 coupons = $6.00

    earned in-store 200 Scene+ points (100 WUB2) = $2.00 value

    earned 4 x $2.00 from CheckOut51 = $8.00 (already approved)

    $17.96 (price) - $6.00 (coupons) - $2.00 (points value) - $8.00 (CO51) = $1.96 for all or 49 cents per box!

    Also at Sobeys today:

    4 x Listerine 1L bottle @ $5.99 = $23.96

    used 4 x $1.50 coupons = $6.00

    earned 600 in-store Scene+ points (300 WUB2) = $6.00 value

    earned 4 x $1.50 from CheckOut51 = $6.00 (already approved)

    $23.96 (cost) - $6.00 (coupons) - $6.00 (points value) - $6.00 (CO51) = $5.96 for all or $1.49 per 1L bottle (plus tax)!

Gotta love when you can combine multiple savings! Sometimes, grocery flyers can be kind of disappointing with the increase in so many prices but I'm grateful that there are still some good deals out there most weeks! You just need to shop like a SmartCanuck!

    late brag
garden centers are starting to close, so some advertised and unadvertised deals
    (3) 4 pack annuals, first clearance $3.44, at the cash, 50% off, $1.72 each
    (4) herbs pots, first clearance $3.44, at the cash, 50% off, $1.72 each
    Used PC Optimum points, $10
Out of pocket, ~$2.04 for 7 plants IIRC, plus tax

    bonus#1
turning clearance plants into free plants:
snapdragons annuals-> they go to seed->plant seeds & get another year of flowers->rinse and repeat
peppermint herb ->they spread so we put them in pots->they flower purple flowers -> flowers go to seed-> more mint the next year-> rinse and repeat

    bonus #2
peppermint makes a nice tea; some say good for tummy problems (not verified claim)
bees love to pollenate the snapdragons and mint flowers; nice to help the bees

Just a fyi. You can't use coupons with most CO51 offers. You think you might get away with it now buy buying other items and being approved that it's fine. I know at least 1/2 dozen people who have had their accounts/ funds terminated. Eventually they find out.

In order to get the closest possible to just over a multiple of $10.00, I bought 11 boxes for a total of $60.39.

    I earned 30,000 points for a value of $30.00

I used $1.50 coupons for Mini Wheats (found several months ago) and $2.00 coupons for Special K (just found these at RCSS) to bring my cost down

I had a CheckOut51 offer of $2.00 on Mini Wheats x 5 for an extra $10.00 savings (already approved)

I appreciate how the PC stores regularly have points offers on Kellogg's cereals, how generous the coupon value on Kellogg's cereals/snack bars/Pringles have been recently and how often CheckOut51 has offers on Kellogg's products! My local Salvation Army food bank is the recipient of a lot of Kellogg's products!

@Dora2014 , that's twice now that you've posted about the same issue. I appreciate your concern but, since my CheckOut51 receipts often have only one item (multiples of that one item), it's clear that I've used tear-pad coupons in combination with CO51 redemptions.

I often post my deals on SmartCanucks because I know it's becoming increasingly difficult for many families and seniors to buy the groceries they need. If posting here helps either other SmartCanucks with their own family needs or enables them to donate more generously to their local food banks, I see that as a good thing. I don't post to "get away with" anything (as you wrote). I appreciate how many others post on this thread in an attempt to alert others to the deals that are available and I'm simply trying to pay it forward.

Price match with Walmart, on sale for $1.47. Get 3 for $4.38 + 400 points. Basically $0.38 for 3.
