I heard that if one want good clearance deals, one should go to Costco right at opening time where Costco have carts with clearance prices as you enter the store. Is that true? I work full time hours so going to Costco on a weekday right at opening time does not work for me unless I take a vacation day.

Thanks for the reminder. Yes, we check that area. Recently, it's not been great. Seasonal change over, with lots of clearance ending in .97, staff have not been able to remove from the aisle.

Scop- At Food Basics large canister of bread crumbs. On an end section with the big sign that said $2.49.
Rang in at $4.49. She tried to tell me she could give it to me for $2.49 since there was many items in that section. I asked for SCOP since it was the only item without its own sign so one would assume it was the large price sign ($2.49)

    Pringles $.50 each
    Nutrigrain 2.99×2=5.98
    - $1.00 (think this is the save it forward.50 ×2), I think the price is supposed to be $2.99 with the .50 already off but it was 2.99 -.50
    - 1× $1.00 on websaver wallet
-3000 points for the $10 spend so the way I calculated it it was .50 each for nutrigrain bar

There might be coupons out there too but I did not have them.

There is a new Unilever coupon for BOGO Axe Body Spray 113g. I printed one coupon and saw that the expiry date is 7 days from the date of printing. So, I looked at the Fl!pp app and saw that Walmart had them for $3.88, sale ending Sept 6th.

Talk about "starting the car!". I hauled my butt over there so fast! I was able to get 8 Axe for $15.52 before taxes ($1.94 each)...WOOHOO!!!

Teenage DS and DH are now set for a while.

    Nice deal.

Was 300 points for Kraft salad dressing shown on price tag or just your personal/digital offer?

The new price tags weren't up when I went this morning...so I'd be interested to know that too.
I double checked my personal offers...it was not from that.

    Thanks for your info.

At least it is good sign for me as I still have some $2 off 2 kraft dressing coupon making them free after all. I guess I need to be in store to find out.

I don't remember a better deal on EVOO in a long time: At NF, no name 750 ml for $5.99 with 2000 points. It's not "the good stuff", but IMO it's fine for recipes that use small amounts, like risotto which I make once or twice a month. Sadly, it has also been some time since there was a really good deal on any brand in the next higher quality level, so I'll have to keep watching for that.

@Arjon you and I thought the same, I can live with non virgin olive oil for that price. Bought 3 bottles, got the 6000 points BUT don't they look so small?
We're used to buying the 3L Canola and 2 L of extra virgin, so by comparison the NN ones looked like a baby size. ha ha
