Today at my local Sobeys they had an in store special on our compliments breakfast sausage for .99! I saw a sign for the ground chicken at .99 but they were all sold out. BB Feb 29th so they will go in the freezer for now. On most Saturday mornings if you arrive at the right time they have great deals in the fresh meat department.

I also picked up 2 X Pintys frozen dips at $4.99 minus $2 printable coupons, Tetley signature tea $4.49 minus $2 printable coupon with 4 bonus Airmiles. Also a mail out coupon for 10 bonus miles when I spend $20 and my Sobeys rewards coupon loaded to my airlines card for 50% off of dempsters tortillas $4.39 - 2.20. I am very interested in trying the dips since I have not had them before.

Overall a Good shop that made up for forgetting to bring my Tide brandsaver coupon to Metro this morning. I will go back after work this week if the Checkout 51 rebate is still available.

The Red Plum insert coupon is for $2 off. When you take those bars of soap to the cashier they will ring in at regular price. When she swipes your AIR MILES card it will reduce the price to a dollar 99. And then put the Coupons through

Did you make sure you got the cashback? It says on 51 at the very bottom under "Additional Information" Cannot be used in combination with any other coupons" = that's why I did not buy/claim it.

Happy with NO FRILLS (west) shop today.

Liquid Tide, 38 loads, yellow bottle
    6 x $3.97 = 23.82 ,
    $5 co51 + $6 mfc + 3000 pc points = $14
    $23.82 - $14 = $9.82 / 6 = $1.63 per bottle

was ready to price match Canadian Tire, but NF already had a great price reduction.

    rustico pizza
    7 x $3.33 = 23.31 (price matched Safeway)
    $2 co51 + 4200 pc points = $6.20
    $23.31 - $6.20 = $17.11 / 7 = $2.44 each

    classico pasta sauce
    6 x $2 = $12 (price matched Walmart)
*pc brand was only $1.88, heard it is very good, but like the classico for a sauce base.
*wish those $1 mfc were still around

Tidy Cats - cat litter - 6.5 kg - on sale
    2 x $5.88 = $11.76
    $11.76 - $4 peelie ($2 on each) = $7.66 /2 = $3.88 each

(just poured some litter into the litter box. Out popped mfc $3 wub2)

schneiders pork sausages - pk of 12 frozen
    6 x $2 = $12
    *stock over run

    Red Sockeye Salmon
didn't buy today as flyer has them $2.88. But did buy 10 cans on Thursday night @ $1.99 each.
    Go figure!

    pork/beef blend hamburger
    limit 1 package @ 2.88 lb = $7.72
had fresh pork offer 100/$1 and fresh beef offer 200/$1
so got 2100 points for the package

    miscellaneous
50% pink stickers on fresh whole wheat bread, $.88 whole wheat bagels, $1.88 cauliflower

Thanks to all the experts out there, I'm doing much better at price matching.

$1.99 for sockeye salmon is a wicked good price.
    It's usually $3.99+
Best I ever got was $1.49 at Foodland with a limit of 6. Had to go to a few stores over a few days to get a stockpile.

Check your local Shoppers Drug Mart for clearance deals on hair products.

I was at SDM this morning and saw 2 full bins of shampoos, conditioners and various hair products all being cleared at $2.00 each! There were many brands to choose from: Aveeno, L'Oreal, Pantene, Herbal Essences, Tresemme, Head & Shoulders, Life. Some had current peelie coupons on them and I had coupons for others. Even the cashier commented on the amazing deals and how she was looking forward to digging through the bins during her break. I'm not sure why there were so many products being cleared but I'm assuming either the sizes, fragrances or packaging are changing. I'm stocked up for quite a while!

nice buys! I noticed a lot of hair products on clearance at one of the SDMs near me. Nothing close to $2 (more like $7 on sale). Might be part of a wider thing at Shoppers to look out for
