If you have the space you can freeze coffee, only my Mom drinks Coffee and her preferred brand is Tim Hortons which is way cheaper at Costco vs local sales. So we break down the can and freeze it.
I also know a few people who store their coffee in the freezer and use it straight from the freezer, they say it keeps it fresh and the flavour does not weaken.

Went to No Frills yesterday, the cans of Crisco were still marked down to $4.99 and there were more on the shelf (last week there were 4, I took 2, this week the shelf was fully stock with 8 cans) so I grabbed 2 more cans. Turns out these are the same size as Costco was selling and this is cheaper than I was buying at Costco, I think I was paying $5.99 at Costco. They are good until December 2023.
I noticed they also had the Blue bars on $1.74 but had none in stock but the Golden bars were not marked down and the shelf was full.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

At my RCSS today, they had fresh cryovaced pork tenderloin for $3.99 a pound as advertised. This is a freezer staple for us, and our stock was low, but since this price is available pretty often, I passed. Nearby however, there was frozen, also cryo, for $3. I was in the market for some to freeze anyway, so great... I bought several meals' worth. And as a bonus, one of our accounts had offers for both 200 and 100 points per $1.

Fresh Red Snapper filet marked down at Co-op-$2.35 for .190 Kg-perfect for DH and I for dinner tonight. I also found pork stir fry meat-.138kg for 52 cents! Popped that in the freezer. With lots of veggies that will be enough for a small stir fry with rice for another night for both of us. Very pleased to find small portions of fresh meat/fish on mark down given today's high prices. I again saw 4 litre 1/2 price jugs of milk dated one week away-we don't use that much in a week but when there is more room in my freezer I will watch for another mark down and split into smaller bottles. I refuse to pay a premium for buying milk in smaller 1-2 litre cartons!!

I, too, usually prefer the larger jugs over smaller cartons. However, sometimes, when all things are equal (i.e. $4 4-litre jugs vs $2 2-litre cartons), you can save a few cents with the smaller portions. If you calculate for the deposit and environmental fees, the smaller ones charge less. It's pennies, but something to consider if the prices are equal in all other ways.
