14x boxes of 240g LeClerc Eggnog truffle cookies for $0.94 each
works out to $1.78 / pound

Why is it always the non-nutritious sugary junk food on clearance and discount!?

Found 4x Trutaste milk (4L) on for 99 cents each. It had a few days until expiry although perfectly fine for at least a week. I've made pancakes, muffins, instant pudding, rice pudding and soup so far. Will certainly freeze some also.

The savings in gas alone is worth the cost of membership for most people. We moved pretty far from the nearest Costco but we try and make sure we need gas when ever we know that we will be going past one

Also DH and I just applied online for the new AB govt affordability payments for seniors and folks with children who have a family income below $180,000. He gets $600 over 6 months while I just get $400 as I don't turn 65 until March. In any case it took us about 5 minutes to add $1,000 to our budget over the next few months. I think the Conservatives are trying to buy our votes ahead of the provincial election in May!!

Using my PCO account, I bought Pringles early Thursday with no limit on the Hauliday offer. This morning, using his account, my husband bought 12 cans of regular and 12 cans of sour cream and onion and there was still no limit on the Hauliday offer. We thought that, since it's a money-maker, PCO might adjust the offer to include a limit but, so far, so good!
