Thanks for posting great brags this week everyone. Because of you, we got the Kelloggs buttermilk pancakes with the points.

Also, Butterball turkey franks, reg. $5.99, 50% off pink sticker, ~$3.00, PC Optimum in store offer, 2000 points. After points, ~$1.00. These are in the freezer.

Deli department, the guy came out with a roll of pink stickers and all the chicken was reduced. In the middle of the day. Chicken wings, chicken tenders, selected whole rotisserie chicken. Yup, there was a crowd.
Also had a personal offer for hot and chilled food and earned 1600 PC Optimum points=$1.60

The meat department gal had the 50% off pink sticker roll on her wrist, but did not start to mark down, and we had to go.

Produce, bakery, and reduced carts were full too.

Check your Valu-Mart, Zehrs, Fortinos, Loblaws, Independent, for long weekend pink sticker deals

At Sobeys today, I stocked up on wieners for the rest of the summer:

    12 x Schneiders All Beef Juicy Jumbos 375g @ $4.99 each = $59.88 (best before October 2023)

used 4 x B2G1 FREE coupons = $19.96 (these expire August 15 so just in time!)

    earned in-store 3 x 500 Scene+ points (500 pts. WUB4) = 1,500 points = $15.00 value

$59.88 (cost) - $19.96 (coupons) - $15.00 (points value) = $24.92 total or $2.08 per package of All Beef Juicy Jumbos 375g (regular price is $8.99)

Delissio brand pizzas are being phased out. Food Basics has the thin crust Delissio pizza listed on sale in the flyer for $1.99. That's an amazing price!

Yesterday, on the first day of the sale, my local Food Basics had none and there was an apology note stating that the flyers are made up far in advance and they didn't realize Delissio products would no longer be available. Today . . . surprise! . . . they received a shipment. There was a limit of 6 pizzas and they disappeared fast! Right place, right time!

RCSS told me the same thing; they order, but have no idea if the shipment can be filled by the warehouse.

Walmart had a whole rack of 2-litre cartons of 1% choc milk discounted to $1.24 each with 3 days left before BB date.

Alas, I could only take 6. No room in the fridge/freezer for any more.

$2 for a frozen pizza is great! especially if you have young hungry boys and men.
I have been checking my local grocery stores but they are not putting their stocks on sale.

It takes a bit more time and effort to make and freeze pizzas using store-bought flatbread bases, but the cost per serving can be quite a bit lower, or if I go with $2 each, I can be MUCH more generous with the toppings. I can also choose various bases like pitas or tortillas for more thin and crispy and/or more bready types. And IMO, mine taste better.

WalMart 17 cents a cob!! They are large cobs too, I bought a dozen! There were quite a few shoppers dashing to the corn area and we
were all like kids in a candy store.
