Difficult to be certain, but I have found it more difficult to find chub prices at $5/kg. Yesterday's was $5.60/kg, but that is still lower than the $6.60/kg that I found at other times. All I can do is hope that it is a blip, and that someone makes a big inventory purchase error and over-stocks a massive amount.

At Zehrs today, a package of 12 Farmer's Market cookies is selling for $6.29 but if you have a PC Optimum account, they are $4.00.

There was a loadable digital coupon for 1,500 points ($1.50 value) for every package of 12 FM cookies. (It's no longer available to load.)

I had a personal digital offer of 800 points ($ .80 value) for every $4.00 spent on FM cookies.

After factoring in the points values, it works out to $4.00 - $1.50 - $ .80 = $1.70 per package of 12 Farmer's Market cookies!

I stocked up on shortbread, oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip. These freeze well and will be handy during the holidays!

I think Loblaws has the same deal.

PC fresh pressed apple cider 3L reg. $8 sale $1.44 expire Dec 12. I used to buy a jug when the regular price was $5 so I was very surprised to find them at $1.44 with a good expiry date.

@Purdee that price is crazy great! I used to always get 1 or 2 jugs for Christmas but only when they had them on sale at $3.99 .

Crayola Washable Paint 10 Classic Colours was clearance priced at RCSS for $2.74 each. Factoring in the 40% value of today's Black Friday 40,000 points for every $100 spent in toys, etc., it reduced my cost to $1.68 (plus tax) per box of 10 x 59ml paints. There were 8 boxes and I bought them all. Lots of fun ahead for not a lot of money!

4-pound chub of oven-roasted turkey for $1.35/lb at RCSS
The counter staff even said that it was a good price and she had to consider getting some for herself.
Great. Now, I have to compete with the staff!

Just curious, what kind of items did you buy. I just find everything overpriced there.
