Good afternoon all and happy Monday! What a weekend that was. Outside both days all day, just a little toasty! Thank you for the winning words, think I could go to this one.

A guy stuck his head into a barbershop and asked, 'How long before I can get a haircut?

The barber looked around the shop full of customers and said, 'About 2 hours.'

The guy left.

A few days later, the same guy stuck his head in the door and asked, 'How long before I can get a haircut?'

The barber looked around at the shop and said, 'About 3 hours.'

The guy left.

A week later, the same guy stuck his head in the shop and asked, 'How long before I can get a haircut?

The barber looked around the shop and said, 'About an hour and a half .

The guy left.

I am so sorry for your loss. I sort of know how you feel. I lost my oldest brother in 1997 to an accidental drug overdose. It was a shock to all of us, though not a complete surprise. It took me a long time to come to terms with his death. A sibling's death has an impact on us beyond that of a parent.

Peace to you in this time of grief and sorrow.

I also lost a bro a couple of years older than me back in 1994, I also know how it feels and the shock!!!!

...wow, you too ecat?....and I agree...the shock is huge, so I still do the denial bit to stop from losing my mind.....remember I used to come on here and tell everyone about him in the AC/DC tribute band?....that seems like another life that I was living...TR

Such a tragic story, so very sorry for your loss, but what a beautiful tribute to your brother - thanks for sharing!! Although it's still heart wrenching, there must be some solace in knowing that others have benefited from his final gifts, the tremendous joy he has given others, and that he still lives through them!!!

....I would love to meet the people who benefitted from my brother's decision to be a donor....just to let them know who he was and what he was like....I don't get why there is such a veil of secrecy about the recipients...TR
