The Shoebox Package train- Over - expired

Hi ladies. Just got home from dad's house. Thank you all so very much for your thoughts, wishes and prayers. Much appreciated. Everyone is in a state of shock and total disbelief about my uncle. He was a man that treated his family and friends so nice and when he came to Canada last summer we made sure he enjoyed himself. He was loved by everyone who met him, young and old. Still can't quite function and not sure if I'm going to work tomorrow. My daughter will be going with my dad, stepmom, 2 uncles and aunt for the funeral. She said she will take care of them. They are all older and take medications and are in varying stages of mourning. I don't even know what to say. This is so unbelievable and sad. He died from a massive heart attack. Can't type anymore. have a good night.

Trent and I will be there with Armygirl on October 10th and 11th..come then

I think unfortunately I going to miss you by a week or so. Right now the plan seems to be to go over when my MIL is going (already planned & booked) sept 19 then staying for 10 days to 2 weeks. Though I will know more tomorrow after hubby finds out yhe details. As we want our visit (DD & I) to be in the middle of his trip so he is not away from DD for too long.

I want to meet you all I can see a big party in Edmonton happening, and I can hardly wait.

Sorry I did not post last night went out with mom to do some running around as I did not want her to go alone on her hurt leg, totally backfired, spent over half an hour in line to pay at Wal-Mart and than my bill was messed up so another 10 minutes in line at customer service (but yeah, I got a basket of potatoes for free as they did not ring up properly so that was $3 in my pocket) and she refused to go and sit in the car and wait.

Big hugs to those that need them, my mil is now in the hospital (sort of, if they can find a bed for her) with a suspected blockage in her bowel, she was in emerg. all day yesterday, they let her come home for a few hours in the middle of the night but she had to be back before shift change at 7:30 am. Being referred to a surgeon this morning and a CAT scan asap. Hubby stayed up at hospital til midnight, sis in law who is a nurse was there all day and night and back up there this morning. Mil is 82.... so this is kinda scary.
We were going to attempt back to school shopping again today, hubby took the day off so we could head over to Truro for a bit more variety, but now it might be a day of waiting for news.

Oh my. I wonder if the 13 in 2013 means something.

On another note - I did a bit of a coupon sweep through some stores today and NOTHING!! \Has it been a 'dry' summer for coupons for the rest of you?

Ok so here is the totally awesome package that I received yesterday. Sorry but some of the goodies where snitch yesterday while I was at my parents house.

1. Jennie's macaroons (missing)
2. Mrs Grimbles macaroons (missing)
3. Package of Swiss hazelnut coffee
4. 2 bottles of nailpolish
5. Kitkat
6.nail file
7.lifesavers
8. Live clean lotion sample
9. Canada fridge magnet
10. 15 iTunes card

12. Free mcdonalds coffee, mmmm
13. Granola bars (some are missing)

as for my buddy package #1 says ETA the 29th but you will either magically get it today or tomorrow as it is only 3hrs away from you as of 7am this morning as for package #2 yes it was at the boarder, came to Winnipeg for a few hours and headed back home - it has been a mess trying to get answers but it should be back in Winnipeg by Friday apparently -

ya I am so glad that you liked everything! It took quite a bit of effort to pack everything in it & especially hard not to eat the Mrs Crimbles macaroons - I am so horribly addicted to them.
