I don't mean to hijack your threads Danger Dan. I like your QOTD posts

Do you have a nickname? Do you like or loathe it? Does your nickname have a meaning behind it? Do other's still call you by your nickname or is it a thing of the past?

I don't have a current nickname. In High School my friends use to call me Sharkey. Why? I was shy in elementary and junior high. I was bullied somewhat. In high school I became more ferocious and didn't back down when others tried to bully me. My friend's called me Sharkey. The funny part is they would yell down the hallway "Sharkey" and I would turn my head in response.

Now that I'm older the name has faded away.... but I'm still shark in disguise lol.

Right, I remember now, they call me Tater Salad.

Candini is my alter ego. Was a nickname I was given in high school.

One of my girlfriends - we call each other gooby/goobertons. Came from the Uncle Dolan show on you tube - don`t ask.

People seem to turn my original name into Candy - which I despise.

I was 10 when I became an auntie, and one niece couldn't say "Auntie Natalie", so she started calling me Nanny - so that nickname is still used by all family members.

High school nickname was "Sunshine".

Around here it's And-It (as opposed to Andi T ). In HS, at one point I had a brief case, and my winter coat looked like a trench coat, and to add to the "look" I wore a beret (yes, I weird ), so a classmate started calling me double oh zero. No one's called me that in years, but I do have fond memories of my alter-ego spy life. lol

Nope, never had one. Still don't. It's funny, now that you bring this up...I don't think any of my friends had a nickname...we never got into that for some reason...weird what brings up memories...

Somehow, 'Stretch' became a nickname that some still call me.
