LO requested a strawberry smoothie, so I made one for each of us. We are also sharing a toasted sesame seed bagel. His part just has butter on it, mine has peanutbutter and some raspberry jam.

Did you substitute your blade steak for prime rib or sirloin? lol
Nothing wrong with a blade steak if you can get it nice and tender.

I had Cheerios and milk, but my stomach isn't feeling good this morning.
LO eventually wanted Rice Krispies in a bowl and milk in his sippy cup. *shrug* Whatever works.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

I had 9 eggs left in my carton this morning. I noticed that the expiry was June 22. So I did the freshness test and they passed only if I used them up quickly. So I boiled them all. That was the end of the couple dozen eggs I purchased with my coupons $1WUB2.
So I ended up with 3 hard boiled eggs, toast and coffee.

Blade roast is what I meant to write, it was a beauty size too at FB ( in their marked down meat area ) and I do find that cut to be pretty decent for tenderness as well as flavour but I accept there will be more fat in the layers. Sirloin has never been in my cart, just don't care for that cut. I roasted this of course but even when I do buy blade as a steak I never BBQ them, usually slow saute a few of them them in a large cast iron pan with onions, or pressure cook them a smidge first and then finish them off in a stew or something. For me it is a better end product than on a BBQ, I don't have to fuss and watch over it, possibly burning them and I am not much for marinating meat normally.
