Thread: Optimum card didn't scan

I went to SDM today and the cashier swiped my card but when I looked at the receipt it said I could have earned 160 points if I'd have had an optimum card. Do I have any recourse? If so, with the store or head office?

yikes. I'd call head office directly. You'd think using the info on your receipt theyd be able to fix it and maybe get you a new card if yours has lost it's "scan"ability!

Take the receipt back to the location they can add the points to your card. I've done this many many times. Lol.

Just call head office they will fix it for you.

On a similar note, if you forget to use a coupon, can you go back with your receipt (showing proof of purchase) and get the discount?

Im not sure if its the same at every shoppers, but at the Shoppers I work at you have 5 days to get it adjusted and it goes onto your account right away, and the cashier can give you a new card and it takes about 10 seconds. she just scans your old card, scans your new card, and that's it. I do it all the time for my customers.
