Friday night - catch up on weekly tv shows.
Saturday morning - sleep until about 9:30 (that's pretty late for me!) then go get my weekly groceries
Saturday afternoon - lounge/tidy up/prep food for dinners, etc.
Saturday night - date night, or go out with friends... but since I don't have friends here really, it's date night
Sunday morning - get up for a morning run
Sunday afternoon - repeat of Saturday
Sunday night - call my parents to check in/make a big feed for lunch leftovers for the week
Yep, that's pretty much it. Not very exciting, but I find it really hard to be "on" all week at work... it drains me. I know that sounds whiny, but it's not my personality to be so extroverted. I'd much rather be the weird, eccentric prof.

Every weekend is different for my family. Tonight is steak night at the pub with DH, tomorrow is family day - taking my kiddos and my little (almost 34 year old) brother apple picking at the orchard, and hope to go to the movies this Sunday if theres something good to watch with the family. The work at home (laundry, bathroom, the floors!!!) will wait until saturday night and possibly sunday night.
So glad the weekend is gonna be nice - the forecast is sunshine with the temperature around 23-24 degrees!!! Im one happy cat!!!The average dog
is nicer
than the average person.

Different but yet the same lol
We have a routine, but it changes if we have to do something etc Were usually always doing something different on Saturday afternoons - apple picking, farmers market, the zoo (next week!), shopping, movies etc

Wow, dan, I absolutely love that song - brings back memories of a certain Mustang and a certain guy, from back in the day...
Weekends are always different. This one will be work, work, work around the house - clearing stuff out in prep for our eventual move.

Weekends for us are like a box of chocolates, you never know LOL. Our weekends were definitely structured when the children were small. Now that the youngest is 19 we have the freedom to do whatever we want. I was trying to convince DH we should fly to Vegas for a weekend

I try an do all the crappy around the house stuff during the week or at night so that the weekend we can do family stuff. Although with swimming lesson for both at night and homework every freaking night it makes for a busy week. The weeks fly by I am always shocked when Fridays arrive so quickly.
Although this weekend I am meeting some friends for breakfast Saturday morning but after that we may go apple picking or drive to see the colors. We wing it for the most part but can be ready to go on an adventure at the drop of a hat.

I try to not have house work on the weekends.I don't work Fridays so I power clean and do laundry. Hubby and I usually go out for a drink and appetizers Friday evening, not tonight we have a wedding tomorrow so will just do that.We always have family supper on Sundays when everyone comes home with their husbands boyfriends, children etc and we have a big visit and lots of good food. This is one family tradition I will not give up!!

Don't worry vesper... we all don't have big exciting lives... my friday will be spent streaming some tv with a pepsi... and that is plenty enough excitement for me tonight.
