I know what you mean! I'm nervous about mine too! Is it enough, did I get the right things? the right kind of things? etc, etc, etc, etc!!!

The kids absolutely went cuckoo nuts!. It was really nice. Not to be a downer, but they've been having a really hard time, the 18th of October, was three months from when my dad passed. They were very close with their grandpa, and having a hard time this past weekend. Getting mail today with things for them, just lifted their spirits. Thank you for that!

IT was lovely, and everything will be used! In fact, they are colouring in bed right now.

These trains are so much fun! It is so exciting to know you are getting a package, and waiting for it to come! And it's so much fun to put them together, and send them to your buddy!

So was soooooo looking forward to the Advent train this year, but I may not be able to take part. Today and tomm. our local car dealership (that I swear by) is having a massive sale and we are going to go check it out and possibly get a new vehicle! Im really excited about it as my car is really running on its last lags and there is only so much "nickle and diming" you can do to a car! Ive been doing my homework on vehicles and there are a couple they have that I maybe interested in, here where you guys come in.....

The 2 they have on their website that im thinking about (they may have something else on the lot not listed) but they have:

1) 2007 Saturn Vue has 115300km on it 4speed Auto FWD

or

2) 2008 Pontiac Vibe has 127216km on it 4speed Auto w/OD FWD

Just looking for other ppl's opinions about these 2

we have an 02 saturn vue and todd loves it!! it is his vehicle. only thing we have run into now is it needs a rear differential and i have just ordered a part off of ebay, the throttle body and actuator assembly. everything is electronic and there is no cable between the gas pedal and the throttle actuator therefore needing to order the whole assembly. new and at my dad's shop's cost it would have been over 900 bucks to replace, hence ordering it off of ebay. all other parts are very reasonable!! the other really nice thing is that it is all plastic and therefore will not rust!!! big bonus for where we live due to all the salt in the winter!

the other thing to note about our vue is that todd is very hard on vehicles. he takes it off roading thru the sandhills.......so chances are these are things that he has done to it.......lol

I'm sorry I don't know much about either vehicle. I do know that DH's mom had a few Saturn's and loved them...

I feel your pain on the car! Mine kicked the bucket 2 months ago and I'm now driving DH's van (which isn't much better --01 Caravan). We're hoping to buy a newer van in the new year. I'm hoping for a 2008-2010 Caravan but we'll see what's decently priced when we start actively looking.

DH's brother just bought a 2013 Caravan and has payments for 84 months! I wayyyyyyyy too cheap for that. lol. We'll keep saving until we can afford something. lol

Good luck at the sale! If you find something, you'll have to post pictures!
