Ardene Grab bags Spent $8 for $59 worth of stuff

Never seen these mentioned on here, but did you know about the Ardene grab bags? They're opaque bags containing mystery items of old stock. You don't know what is inside until you buy it. (You can kind of figure it out if you smush them around a bit).

I bought two of the pink grab bags today and I got all this:



2 scarves
1 belt
1 tights
1 nylons
4 pairs reg socks
1 pair toe socks
1 pair leg warmers
1 pair crazy glasses


There's two kinds. The blue are 2/$5 I believe and contain jewellery and hair accessories. The pink grab bags have more hosiery type products and are 2/$8. Added up the approx retail value (guessing, because they do BOGOs). and it's value is $59. The scarves and belt alone have price tags of $9.50 each.

I often take items from these bags and bundle them to donate to Toy Mountain at Christmas. They are always saying they want gifts for teens and what teen girl wouldn't want these?

All I need is a frowny look on my face, a pillow to give to my friend so she can give herself a Kim Kardashian butt, and a baby doll. Then I can run around saying how much I hate the papparazzi (no violence from me)

*edit* lol I guess I shouldn't call them sunglasses! I've never tried them though, maybe they're awesome at blocking some of the sun.

I didn't get the jewellery ones this time but they usually have about 5 items in them. Usually a card of earrings, necklace, some hair elastics or clips/scrunchies. $3 watch. Stuff like that. Every single time I've gotten one of the jewellery grab bags I've gotten headbands (the hard kind, not the soft kind)

Oh and when you're at the bin, get one bag from the top of the pile and one bag from the bottom of the pile to make sure you're getting different items and not duplicates.

BTW if anyone buys bags in the future, I'm sure others would love to see your pics! Always wonder what they have in other cities

Yeah I had purchased those socks 3 years ago and they are still design and I wear still wear them.Thank for the advice....I Wonder if Claire's will make another 10 for 10$ event or clearance 70-90% off stuff,I score a lot of jewelrys last time but it was not advertissed .....and I dont go to the shopping center often
