That's creepy .. Like why buy home products from someone when you can buy yourself and coupon .. I hope these people get caught and have to pay all the taxes and then some ..
I'm in the montreal area in Quebec and we are having issues with tear pads being empty as well.. The coupon zone display is always all torn up up (yay screw ) .. And the good coupons are empty .. And In the store sometimes every single teatpad is empty .. So frustrating . I have not come across a site like that for this area though..
I too feel like a thief trying to take a couple coupons and fighting with the display.. I always even try to take my coups when I'm alone in the aisle or no one is looking cause if they do they always look funny .. Especially when fighting with the pad .. Shame
I actually had no idea couponning was this popular . I thought there was just a few oddballs here and there (like us lol) that did it but I'm noticing more and more stores (brunet anyone) being so incredibly stinky about them and more and more tear pads that are empty .. Even the j&j replacement is now just for travel size , chapmans is now 4$ .. So many less FPCs and good coupons going around .. It's sooo much more work I feel to coupon now then before and it's a shame cause I love it and I feel like it's going to end up fading away and stop being done ...

Yes, well said!! Who would want to buy some personal items from someone you do not know like soap, laundry detergent and things of that nature, not knowing how they were stored or for how long and subject your family to those issues to save a few dollars. Couponing is a part-time job almost but for providing for our familes and friends and helping others. If there is a bad way to do things, creepy people will always find a way. A neighbour of mine alerted me that a certain vehicle has been spotted in our neighbourhood - seems to be casing the neighborhood. To me this is no different, why don't you all get a real job like the rest of us and use they fabulous resource to help provide for our families. You will not be able to do this forever because you will be slamming the door on your own scam at one point but oh yes on to the next scam. Nice example to set for your children and family and friends!!

There always has to be that select group of people who choose to take advantage, go too far, and ruin it for everyone else. They are just the same as the people who have "stockpile sales" and buy the product for next to nothing and sell it for a profit. (here's a link for those who haven't heard of this "latest trend" as the news anchor calls it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8uVH0gxa_o )
As for those tearpads with the screws.... don't even get me started.
I recently went to RCSS and there was a tearpad with cat food coupons I haven't been able to find anywhere. I wanted to grab a couple but tearing them off was more of a challenge than anticipated. You could tell that other people were having a difficult time getting the coupons off because there were remnants of the other coupons (some half torn and left) basically jamming the thing so you couldn't get one without it tearing in half. I stood in the isle and undid the screw to take all the little pieces out, grabbed a few coupons and put the screw back on. The worst part was when i looked up and saw people giving me death stares as if I was doing something criminal!! If anything I helped myself get a few coupons and may have helped others have easier access to them as well because they would no longer rip in half when you tried to get them and there wasn't a huge stack of paper blocking it. I just hated the way the people around me made me feel and the negative stigma that seems to be surrounding couponers lately.
To all those people in the isle that were giving me dirty looks here's some information for you. NOT ALL COUPONERS ARE CROOKS!!

OMG i found a new kind of screw today. METAL. The tear pad is basically for display only becuase you can't even remove ONE coupon without tearing it to shreds.

The stores should only put out a few cpns at a time to prevent this..and at different times of the day..say 5 in the morning ..5 in the afternoon..5 in the evening etc..so basically put out 15-20 cpns of a product each day.
Plus they can keep a few cpns at cash to prevent hoarding.
It will affect the regular shoppers , but it will affect the coupon hoarder's much more as it will force them to make multiple trips to hoard cpns, not worth it for them.
Plus the regular shoppers will have a better chances of getting cpns.

wow I'm shocked, I looked at their fb page and I don't understand how they are allowed to sell this stuff it's not like it' s your kids 2nd hand snow suit or such, this is all brand new items, you should ask the ladies at Safeway if it's these 2 that are doing this or not.

When dealing with the metal screws you can pull off 2 to 3 at a time... start at one side and work your way to the middle... then work your way to the middle from the other direction and wiggle it off the center... it minimizes damage and eventually you get good at it. I don't mind doing it a couple times... it means it is far more likely that there will be coupons left for me to get later.

Maybe the electronic dispenser they use for Hydrasense is the solution. Just time it so that a new coupon can only be released after a few minutes

LESS THAN RETAIL
BAHAHA Love this.
jezz and I believe one of these people is the LUNATIC responsible for stealing entire pads of CLEAR last month. There is a pair of sisters who have bad reputations as thieves in town. It looks as though one sister is selling on this LESS THAN RETAIL facebook page. These dimwitted people provide a plethora of personal info on facebook about themselves. I know their home addresses, spouses, where they work, what they drive, names and photos of their family members, kids school. I could easily knock on their doors and ask to come in for a spot of tea and peruse their offerings of non-perishables for sale. I just might

At least they can't steal your printable coupons, gocoupons, save.ca coupons, websaver coupons, brandsaver coupons or healthyessentials coupons
