Just got back from No Frills in Mount Pearl, NL. Got 125 count boxes of Maynard's for $2.97...save $12-something! These are the ones with Sour Patch Kids, Swedish Berries, Fuzzy Peaches & something else. Yay!!

Not sure if this was store-specific or what but they had a mountain of them!

I just buy no brand candies and chocolates for Halloween ..much cheaper ..I don't think the kids really care as long as they get candies

But if you can get a deal on brand name candies its always good

I bought a GIANT (i think 2.5kg) pack of candy (wonka stuff mostly, nerds, starburst, gobstoppers, etc etc) for $14.99 at Costco (BC)
sounds like a lot, but there must be over 200 pcs of candy in there, and comparatively i think it was a good price (bought last week, was having a halloween party on the weekend)

thanks for posting all your deals, everyone.

I was at Freshco today and Nestle 24 pieces were reduced to $2.99 and had a $1 coupon on them. Got two.

I plan on going out for some Halloween chocolate tomorrow morning. I even have some Hershey's chocolate coupons (good anything) that I might be able to use.

All the candy at target was 50% off... And worked out slightly cheaper than shoppers drugmarts sale prices. I was at walmart on Halloween and saw them packing some stuff up, so not going to bother checking there for clearance candy.

I was actually out looking for costumes for my little guys dress up box - target had some at $9 down from $33 and superstore was 50% off.

When you say packed, where did it go? Storage for next year?

Longo's also reduce to 50% most of candy. 90 pack Kitkat/ coffee krisp one for $ 8.44 include tax.
My co-worker went to Loblaw she told there much cheaper.. today no and tomorrow no tax.
chips 24 bag of old dutch chips for $0.79 and 58 or 50 bags for $ 1.49. no tax is good thing.

Went to FreshCo this morning - all gone
Shoppers as well - they are putting up Christmas stuff already!
Sobeys had 50% off but even after that, they're basically the same price as what they normally sell at other stores
    Such a disappointment this year
