We are loving this . Yesterday the kids opened a chess/checker set, and today they opened animal rummy ! We are a big board games family, so these will be well used! I opened envelopes yesterday (never have enough of these!) and a seasons greeting grocery list notepad for the fridge today!

On the 8 th day of Christmas cowgirl gave to Mitch a very nice artist pad, he's already using it.
and for Hailey a cover girl lash blast mascara. No pictures because they used them right away. Thanks ladies awesome gifts again.

Just checking in... We didn't get to opening today's gifts (GASP!!!). Today was a crazy day and tomorrow promises to be just as bonkers . I will post today and tomorrow's gift tomorrow at some point.

On the positive side- it has warmed up from -40 with windchill to "only" -24 with the windchill... Almost shorts weather here in Alberta

My insane son wears shorts all year round...He only has 2 pants of pants and one of those goes to his tux the other is for when its -50 so he says ;o;

Ohh Lordy. Today was the day from hell. Dealing with my ex, had to go pick up DS at 9am this morning because he said he was too tired to watch him... I get there and he's laying on the couch half asleep while DS is running around....
So decided to take DS out for lunch and to the mall to see Santa. Stupid stupid idea.... We waited in line for fourty minutes, DS was so tired he fell asleep on the bus home and I had to carry fourty pounds of dead weight home, lol. Get home he sleeps for maybe an hour and then we had to do grocery shopping and run errands... We didn't end up getting home until about an hour ago. This would have Ben so much easier on both of us if his dad wasn't such a poo head.

Today DS got a 3 pack of kinder eggs, and I got two big bottle of extra strength Advil liquid gels!!!!!!

Thank you sooo much, I needed these so bad. Lol.

DAY 8...thank you LQ for the ponytail elastics...I never seem to have enough, and its quite clear WHY....Of the new package of 24, my girls grabbed about 8 each! So Im left with 8...better than the ONE I had this morning. LOL Thanks a million.
