Thread: Keurig Special Edition for $8.81!!!

    Last night DH and I were out on a shopping date at the mall while my wonderful SIL and BIL watched the kids.

    About 8 or 9 months ago I won a $25 Sears gc off the Huggies site and have been saving it not knowing when to use it or what to use it on. So we just enter Sears because we figure hey, we have this gift card may as well see if there's anything worth spending it on.

    We don't venture too far into the store and a big neon pink sticker catches my eye - it's on a Keurig machine. (I'd mentioned to DH how I wouldn't mind having one because every time we use our Tims Brewer we need to make a minimum of two cups and one usually gets thrown out because we tend not to drink coffee at the same time in the mornings.)

    Anyway, an employee is emptying some more things onto this clearance cart and he sees I'm interested in the Keurig. He's like, "Yah usually these returned items are for the staff but my manager told me to put them out for customers. You get an additional 25% off the clearance price." I was like whaaaat!?? I checked to see if this particular Keurig machine takes the "My K Cups" because I have a ton of Tims coffee that I got using the Kellogg's $5 coffee coupons and they're not K cups. Well it's compatible!!

    Sooo... It came to $33.81 after the discount, minus the $25 card I had, so in total we paid $8.81 for our new Keurig!!

    I got the mini Keurig this summer for $59.99 - $50 GC. It's sooooo handy! DH didn't want one and now he loves it and uses it daily. lol.

    WOW ! ! You got a scoop of a deal. We have a Tassimo machine, hubby loves it, me not so much. I dislike the taste of their lattes -- blech. A friend of ours has that keurig and I love going over to her house just for the coffee, LOL!! I so NEED one of these machines as I drink a ton of coffee while working on my school work.

    Thanks! I did so when I registered my warranty. I don't really plan on buying the actual K cups tho. Although the coupon doesn't expire til 2099 so I have some time to decide lmao
