Last night while taking advantage of SDM's Campbell soup deal, I figured I would use 3 of my Zest bar soap coupons that were expiring yesterday (Smartsource or Redplum, I can't honestly remember). The cashier rang one in, stopped and looked very carefully, then said she was sorry but she could not accept the coupon based on the redemption address. She said they had submitted many coupons and had been refused reimbursement, and therefore would only accept coupons if they had a 1600 or 3000 redemption address. The address was HRBR/Universal, Unit 7-262, 91 Rylander Blvd. Scarborough, Ontario, Canada M1B 5M4.
Does anyone know if this is true, I have never paid any attention except to confirm it was a Canadian redemption address, would hate to think I used coupons elsewhere with this result for the retailer. I didn't push the issue cause I was pretty sure there would be a wise SC with the answer.

Never heard of this issue but I bet if you email the manufacturer they will probably send you replacement coupons. I have never even had someone check the address on coupons....

Maybe they didn't send them to that Scarborough address and just mailed them to 1600 or 3000 redemption addresses.

I was refused some coupons at Save-on-foods today because the redemption address was in the U.S. only, but at Safeway, they were fine with some I'd used earlier?? I'm very new at this, and don't want to rip anyone off. Where can I find out the coupon policies?

    Thanks,
    Gina

You can't use any coupons with a U.S. redemption address in Canada.
