    Well you read it here first all my smartcanuckers, I am officially retiring on Jan 10th, but my last day of work is Jan 3rd. ( using up a week's vaca time) That means just 4 days left of dragging my tired butt out of bed at 3:30 a.m. as well as 4 more days of spraying my aching knees with Deep Heet or slathering Tiger Balm on them....just 4 days left of slogging around in those steel toed boots on concrete floors.
    My 35 yrs outside delivering mail has passed in the blink of an eye! Working inside this past year is quite another thing, and watching all my co workers suffer daily on these new and improved routes was just too much to take, so I am bailing!! Sorry to all my friends that are just a hair away from earning their full pension....hang in there guys!!
    I am feeling so light headed and I can barely breathe with the excitement at the thought of really relaxing for the first time since I was 17 and started my first job!! ( to clarify CP was not my first job ) Have not told a soul there about my departure yet, well except of course my DH and such. Feel free to post me some funny pics and join in my celebration....there WILL be wine!! ( which reminds me I used to love doing needlepoint )
