Cirque's productions always are a visionary performance to experience. This was no exception - although not my fav of the ones I have seen - tis still quite outstanding as it magically portrays the evolution of man...brilliance in its interpretation and delivery!!!

I first saw Cirque decades ago at Harbourfront, before anyone knew who they were (don't think even they realized how famous they'd get). Haven't seen them in years (won tix last yr, but sent the treat dispensers to watch them & have a fun night out),

Did you ever see the Imax flick, Journey of Man? Brilliant!

this reminds me of my bday in the states, had been a while
since i'd had a cake with candles, (lucky me was a lemon
meringue pie) - anyway i was so out of practice i attempted
to blow the candles out (whole pack ) - BEFORE they
sang the darn song ---- the horror on their faces!!!!!
so the candles got relit, the song got sung, etc.
more candle wax on the meringue

blah blah blah, do like cat ballou - and it is sort a girly flick
if you remember jane fonda is cat ballou.

TR thank you for sharing the pics - your niece is beautiful and she looked radiant - a proud heart smiling moment for you - am glad the weather cooperated I did my best sun dance ever....
so no complaints Qsters when the snow she comes a falling in 88 days....

....a sincere thankyou to McSkier and all who did the rain-go-away dance for my niece's wedding....it worked, all thanks to you guys!!!
...as for the snow...ummm....I walk with a stick, so I have enough trouble navigating without the complication of slippery conditions...can I complain just a little bit?....no rant, just a little "aaargghh"....hope that's OK....TR

Methinks anyone who *chooses* to run this early on a Sunday has more energy than sense. At least Lily dog has live entertainment.

I'm supposed to be going out yet again this afternoon. As much as I love hanging out with my friends, I think I need a few days' rest...maybe when I'm old enough to retire.
