I was at Orleans last night, they had red metal carts (for stocking staff) full of office supplies, shrink wrapped and marked for $100. I was tempted to buy it just for the cart 😂 Closing tomorrow 😭😭😭

I went to Pickering this morning. It's the last day. So sad. Everything 80% off. I did pick up a bunch of stuff...bill went from subtotal $147.01 to total of $33.02 after the discount.

Took the cake in today and we went up to the offices and locker room had a nice chat with them. They were happy and I was glad to hear many of them already have jobs which is the most important thing.

Also picked up warehouse size boxes of garbage bags. Got them for $8.75 each after a little negotiating lol Some of the boxes have 1000 bags in them so I am set for LIFE

Yesterday picked up some of their rubbermaid bins that they used in the warehouse $3 each with lock lids.

I will pop in Thursday just to say a final goodbye.

Today is the last day??? I thought it was tomorrow!!! I was there on Friday and there was still a lot of stock. Awww i'm sad i don't think i will be able to make it there tonight!

Women's clothing, lingerie, hosiery and bed/bath/organization are the primary remnants of stock in the Hamilton stores. Grocery is just sprinkles, random spice bottles (QUeenston), coffee (Upper James) or the odd package of something.
Just looked at the updated store closing list-Centre on Barton's store will close one day before the HSR is to go on strike.

Might have to take a look on Thursday if in the area.

I went to the store in Sunday and there wasn't much left. What are people buying? Did they increase the discount to cause this?

Went to the Ajax Target this morning. Still lots of clothes left esp women's, some movies, cosmetics, wall art but the rest of the aisles are 'enter at your own risk'. Lots of open, broken and randomly placed things. The line-up wasn't bad at all but that was before lunchtime. Didn't buy anything as I think I got my last good deals on the weekend at the Whitby store (Gillian O'Malley pjs I'd been eyeing for a while, some wet cat food, litter box and a scratching pad for the kitties which they really liked).

End of this week, all Durham region Targets will be closed (Oshawa already closed, Pickering, Ajax and Whitby this week) :-(
