Serhiy Danyleichenko died of his wounds near Krymske, Luhansk Oblast on February 16, 2019.

Serhiy was born on December 25, 1990 in Verbovets, Cherkasy Oblast. He enlisted in 2015 and served as senior soldier in the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade.

Serhiy leaves behind his grieving mother.

Ihor Sas passed away in his hometown on February 16, 2019.

Ihor was born on April 8, 1974 in Zhmerynka, Vinnytsia Oblast. He served from 2014-2015 as mechanic and driver in the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade.

During shelling in Zelenopillia, he was in charge of searching for the wounded and carrying them out of the combat zone.

Ruslan Kondratiuk was laid to rest in his hometown on February 20, 2019. He was killed near Maryinka, Donetsk Oblast on February 15, 2019 when an ATGM fired by enemy forces hit his vehicle carrying men to their positions. Ruslan died on his way to hospital, 3 other Ukrainian soldiers were wounded.

Ruslan was born on October 2, 1981 in Viynytsia, Rivne Oblast. He served in the 3rd Battalion “Volia” of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade. Ruslan leaves behind his grieving wife, a son (2008) and daughter (2011).

Vasyl was born in Vasylkiv, Ternopil Oblast on October 18, 1980. He went to war as a volunteer in 2014, serving as senior soldier in the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade.

Vasyl leaves behind his grieving wife and 2 daughters (2002 and 2004).

Yuriy was born in 1977 in Rozhytse, Volyn Oblast. He went to war in 2014-2015, and fought at Debaltseve. He served in the 1st Battalion “Volyn” of the 14th Separate Motorized Brigade.

Yuriy leaves behind 2 children.

Today is the Day of Crimean Resistance to Russian Aggression. Exactly five years ago on February 26, 2014, Crimeans held a massive rally near the Crimean Parliament in Simferopol in support of the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Since that day Crimean Tatars have been systematically persecuted, arrested on false charges, tried in kangaroo courts and thrown into prisons. Many have been kidnapped, killed or have simply disappeared.

On February 27, 2014, Russian forces or “little green men” armed with heavy weapons seized the Crimean Parliament building in Simferopol, Crimea and raised the Russian flag.

23-year-old Vitaliy Narozhenko died while on duty in Donetsk Oblast on February 17, 2019. The circumstances of death are under investigation…

Vitaliy was from Kostuvate, Mykolayiv Oblast. He enlisted and served in the 15th Battalion of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade.
