Kept myself busy yesterday as I made hamburger patties for the freezer. Made a meatloaf but I cooked that and at the same time as I baked some potatoes. Also cooked Grill 'Ems as DH wanted them for lunch today. Washed tons of dishes too. Fridge got cleaned out too and I found a jar of moldy salsa which surprises me as I only opened it about a month age...will be phoning Old El Paso most likely later today as it is good until July.
Snowing here a little but I sure wish it would stop. Our snowbanks are high enough!
Plan on sorting through some things today for the consignment store...amazing how much you can find even though you think you have gotten rid of things you think you don't need. Extra money to put on the LOC.
Hope everyone has a great day.

February "gym" workout
1. We have finished our morning) snow shovelling.
2. We will have to shovel again this evening, according to Mr. Weatherman's forecast.
3. Found a huge jug of Fleecy in our stock pile ($3 clearance, reg. $9.99). No need to buy weights to work out. Also 2 x huge jugs of Dawn dish detergent (3.xx Wally's clearance, reg. $7.99??)

Very Nice
We had that problem with the Salsa we used to buy which I cannot think of as it has been a few years now as we switched brands. I sweat I could open it and 2 weeks later it was all moldy which is ridiculous very few people I know can go through a whole jar of salsa in 2 weeks.
I also agree on the snow banks, at work they have knocked them down as much as they can but they are piling back up. Not to mention in town they only knock down ones on the main streets which is great but my problem is seeing down the road when you are off the main streets.
I actually saw an article on this yesterday and me and another girl in the office were looking at it, I really hope things change but at the same time I am kind of freaked out. We saw an article a couple of weeks ago that said due to the fact that yet again Hydro One has been given permission to increase their rates no matter what you do your Hydro Bills will be going up.

Saw that as well on the news last night it seems that even the Ontario Ombusman's Office got a whole bunch of weird and excessive bills, it's funny how the little guy complains and nothing really gets done but when the govt experiences these issues heads roll
.
Lets hope that things get adjusted and credits are given and that perhaps the bad publicity may open the eyes of the Energy Board and say enough is enough with your greedy increases or requests for them (a girl can dream).2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

I was bad and didn't throw chicken in the crockpot this morning. I just didn't feel like it lol. I'm so happy how I'm cleaning out the freezer and not touching our food budget at all really but need to get back at it. I will figure something out when I get home.

Don't sweat the small stuff in life. The good news is you will put that chicken in the crockpot tomorrow am with bells on
.
Yes clearing out the freezer is awesome using up older stock and replenishing with new when the good sales strike. I too have not purchased meat in atleast 2-3 weeks but it's catching up with me as the variety is pretty slim, I'm on whole chicken overload at home and I think pretty soon we will be pecking the grounds like chicksif some other type of meat that we enjoy doesn't come on sale soon. I really would like rib steaks to come on sale for $3.99lbs that would be awesome but $4.99 is do-able and ground beef again would be a nice thing also so much you can make with ground beef.

lol Yeah we eat lots of chicken and I usually prefer it the best but guess I just didn't feel like a regular boring chicken dinner lol. Maybe I will take the kids to the movies tonight! I will make KD and grill cheese quick and then they can have popcorn/nachos (for free from the taco kits!) There! Thanks Nancy, you helped me solve my dinner plan!
