Wow - that is a fabulous Brag Dave!
Years ago we were at a resto and dh went to the bathroom. Came back saying he'd just found $20 on the stairs...that nearly covered the meal for us all. I felt a bit guilty knowing someone had lost $20 but hey, what can you do...imagine if he yelled out who lost this money..he'd be stormed!!Come on -Join me !

Nice brag, and I have to add my WOW to having 7 kids. Way to go! I wish I could handle having a big family. I come from 5 kids, my hubby and I have 2 kids and that's about all I can handle and afford. I do sometimes wish I could afford to give my 2 kids more siblings... and wonder if I would have the patience for more anyway. lol

I'm a sta-at-home mom of 4 (from 1year old to 8). Some people comment on my choice of being at home with the kids (I'm lazy, I have all the time I want, I have nothing to do, etc). Well, yes, why did not I think!!! I love my children and I think the time I am currently with them will ensure they will be amazing adults.
I raise my hat to DaveP for such a beautiful family.More savings and tips? Go see this site.

Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sure they miss you as much as you miss them. You sound like a wonderful person.
And I raise my hat to you. Being at home with the kids is in no way lazy, it's harder than most paying jobs. My wife and I switched off for a lot of years when the kids were younger. Back and forth between parental and maternity leave as the kids were born. With the other working for that year. Glad that's behind us now, but I miss having an infant around the house so much.
