I find that sometimes when I am feeling rattled, I think about my Mom. She always knew the right thing to say & always had good solutions for frenzied daughters. I would love to pick up the phone & hear her voice....

In some ways I am relieved she didn't have to see me get sick. It would have been so hard for her. (we lost my big brother in 1989 to brain cancer & she was never quite the same lady after that).

Love really does live in your heart forever. My Mom & I had some really good times together & her warmth is always with me. I think she helped me to be a better Mom to my boys.

The therapy of the day for me is enjoying some good memories that take me places where I feel good. This picture taken in 1974 was on one of our many day trips. It was also the one & only time that I visited Marineland & Game Farm in Niagara Falls. xx

Aw, she looks like a lovely lady, Loocie...I miss my Mom, too and wish I could just give her one more big, long hug before she disappears again...Have you ever dreamed of your Mom? I've only had a couple of those and woke up feeling like we really were together again....Loved my Dad, too, but Moms and Daughters, right?

Hey everyone,

I am truly honoured by all the offerings of support & warmth from everyone here

Although, I have experienced this sarcoma before, this time it is different. The involvement in my lungs has to be the most unsettling feeling that I've ever had to contend with. I stay away from the temptation of *M*O*G* a condition that afflicts millions of people. That stands for Medical-Over-Goggling. It causes arm chair critics & monday morning quarterbacks to become connoissieurs.

Being able to come here & share a few thoughts help me to express myself. I know that many of you have had cancer touch your lives in one way or another & it can drum up such strong emotions. There is no applicable rationale here either... Darn It!!!

The little lady in the picture is my great niece. This picture says it all I think!

Hi Loocie!!! I just read the thread, I didn't know you were going through this, but I join the SC community in wishing, hoping and praying for the best for you. Cancer is one of the biggest S-O-B's out there, and I hope you can drop kick its @ss with gusto and finesse. Share with us your thoughts and feelings, we have strong shoulders to lean on when they're needed.
