We have sold things on Kijiji, and have always had good experiences.
People will know you are serious and motivated to sell if you give a good description, pictures, and fair prices.

Kijiji... lots of times.
Mostly clothing, bags... everything went swimmingly.
Oh, One time a woman said ' oh I only brought $50 ' when something was $100
Told her to kick rocks and thanks for coming out.

I have sold stuff on Kijiji before. Make sure you put up a few pictures of the item you're selling (from different angles) with a very good description of what your're selling (size, why you're selling it, how old the item is, etc). Be prepared as people will try to bargain with you. Don't price too high or too low. Also, be prepared for people to not show up. I can't tell you how frustrating it is when the person says they are coming on a specific day and time to take a look at the item and then they never show up ! They don't call or email to let you know their not coming...you just never hear from them again. Also, try to move the items you are selling into your garage as to not have to let strangers into your home. That's the number 1 rule. Afterall, you don't know these people right?

sold many items on kijiji. always have pictures and measurements if possible. be very specific in your ad.
no holds, cash only, NO delivery.
**serious inquiries only or email will be deleted*
I NEVER give out my address until i have a confirmed time and they are on their way. DH is ALWAYS home when they come.
I do offer my guys assistance to carry items if needed to vehicles.
if you dont' want it to sit in your house sell it cheap.
FREE always goes FAST.
the second they are gone. REMOVE your ad.Be Strong
Be True
Be You.
Simple as that!
