cdngal-you and your DH can easily pay yourselves $80 to do your own taxes-it is quite easy and there are some free online programs like studiotax. Each program kind of walks you through it. I am guessing many of us on SC do our own-I know we do. Good luck.

well decided to let my son go instead.
my Dad is doing well. he's much stronger, can stay on his own for a bit now. he's bored out of his mind though. thankfully he keeps busy on the tablet we all bought them for xmas. he likes his games. but he def. is itching to get out into his workshop. its only in his backyard. once the weather is nicer i think he'll be out there everyday. he needs to do something with his hands.
although he still has a problem with short term memory loss. he can go to the washroom and not take his walker. yet i was putting it outside of it when we were there he didn't know any better. grabbed it like he'd put it there himself.
we take it one day at time with them. they keep very busy with all the appts and ppl coming in to care for him.

I posted this thread and it should help you with you taxes, so easy to use.

I thought about stopping the cheque, but he did provide service and we need to use his water results, which aren't in yet. The second inspection water results won't be in on time. Don't want to rock the boat until conditions are met. Don't worry I will be making noise afterward. Keep you posted.

Hubby had pancakes and a salad for lunch.

Finally had an update on my brother. They are very pleased with his progress but will be in rehab at least 2 more weeks.

Yes, I bet most frugal people do their own taxes. Thanks for the info.

simpletax.ca - I used this last year and hopefully they are still around because I had no problems and that site was so easy to use.
